Btw, where are those photos from? That design outperforms the actual one in my eyes..!

Its my new Phone it is called the Orange OPhone... Launches Friday 32GB and 64GB. Cost is $299 and $399. Orange.com

haha no that device is IResQs exact to spec IPhone5 replica that they built prior to the Apple Keynote when people were wondering what it would look like. We used it along with Apples spec sheet to design our Ghost Armor Products.

It does look freaking AWESOME!! I had the device for awhile and everyone that looked at it loved it more than Apples design as well.

We can only hope one day they do this :(

Haha, kinda funny how so many are able to equal or outperform what most likely is the highest paid industrial designers in the world. And that based on rumors of an upcoming phone! :p

Maybe the tops in the corporation have a little too much to say on the design these days..

I'll agree that it looks great, but the models hands are covering the top and bottom where the glass covers would be. My understanding is that the glass covers are not just there for asthetics, but were needed to allow one or more of the iPhones antenas to function corectly. If this is the case then a solid aluminum back is not going to work. I like the idea of the all aluminum look but I'm not seeing how your going to avoid the two tone affect on the back.

Well one difference is that Apples designers need to work with its engineers to design a phone that looks good and will actually work. The design concepts that crop up on the web are no more than that, there concepts that have most likely not been through any kind of engineering review

Well, in a way they have. Like the concept in the pictures posted, it was based on rumored or leaked parts of the upcoming phone, and thus the parts of the concept designs which stay true to the actual released product from apple, will be based on Apple's engineering.

Of course, every detail that differs is most likely not properly reviewed. But that does not mean it couldn't work.. :)

Then again, the only way to truly ensure that a product design meets customer standards, would be for Apple to actually make one and roll it out for mass production.

And until that happens, all we can do is dream. The aluminum dream.

It's because we live in reality with physics and other sciences. Not dreams where large breasted women walk around giving out iPhones and Macbooks that never need recharging.

That made me LOL! Thanks for that.
