Weigh a lot less than my old phone.

I want from a 5s to 6s+ (I also recently got a 6 from my workplace), and am finding that the weight of the 6s plus is difficult to get used to. In particular, the size makes it feel like its digging uncomfortably into the distal joints of my fingers and I find I can't hold the device for as long as before. I've had to support it a little with my other hand when using it for long periods. Getting an Apple branded leather case helps a little. Also, carrying this and the work phone in my front pocket is rather heavy.

Does anyone have any tips on how they adjusted to the increased weight? Or is this something you just get used to?

Thanks!

I completely agree I got an original 6plus when it came out. I am power user and after a few months.... Got cramping and numbness in my hand and wrist, similar to what that NBA player complained about. Went back to the 6. Still happens after mega use but a lot better.

Ultimate nerd injury

I went from the 6 to the 6 Plus. I'm not sure adding additional weight was a wise move. The people who bent their phones wasn't worth it the weight increase.

The 6 Plus, I agree, it's on the heavy side, not very comfortable to use honestly. When I pick up my regular 6 now, it feels like a feather.

The weight increase in the 6s phones have to do most with the screen. The new aluminum did not add much of any weight at all.

Didn't even notice. It's not like your going from carrying a feather to carrying a brick.

Anyone who says that an increase in weight from 112 grams to 194 grams is nothing special is just kidding themselves. All the jokes about gym memberships etc. are unnecessary and irrelevant. We're talking about a phone here, not a TV or car.

Sometimes you want to hold it in landscape with only your thumb and index finger, to watch YouTube videos or things like that. At those times you'll definitely notice the extra 82 grams. Also when it's the pocket of your dress pants you want a phone to be as light as possible. The less weight the better, and it's not something I even want to adapt to. Because I know I won't.

For those saying the weight increase is a big deal and you shouldn't be belittled, you're right that jokes shouldn't be made at your expense. However as someone who went from a 6+ to a 6s+ I can't emphasize enough how I have not noticed the weight increase at all. It is imperceptible to me. So don't disregard that quite a few of us have not found an issue with the extra grams put on by the latest models.

Going from a 5s to a 6s+ is another story. But I'm more than positive the bigger adjustment will be to the phone's size, not its weight. When I went from the 5 to the 6+ it wasn't the weight that I needed to get used to. It was getting comfortable handling a phone whose screen was wider and taller than the entire 5 itself.

Wow... you must notice a slight difficulty in walking around after you've eaten 3 marshmallows huh?

I always put a protective cover on my phone. A case I mean.

Good case-heavier
Stylish case-not as heavy, but looks good.
naked phone- why? I'm a guy, I don't carry a purse. my phone is in my pockets 99% of the time when I walk outside. I also don't carry my phone in my hand texting (look at the pretty people!), play games while I walk (nerd!!), on my hands as if I'm gonna get a phone call any second (gimme a break, mr. hollywood agent), or looking at maps (lol, yeah, tourist), or reading texts from my mistress (I'm such a stud), or playing Pokemon Go (actually, I'm trying to catch the Lucario).

ok, what's the question?
Yeah, I put a protective case on it so it's safer. And heavier, I guess

Ramble much?

I went from the 6 to the 6S and definitely notice the difference. When I'm using the phone with one hand, it's often supported from below by my little finger, and it starts to ache more quickly than with the 6. However, the 6S is so much faster than the 6 that I don't need to hold the phone for as long, which almost makes up for it.

Went from the 5s to the 6s, haven't even thought about the weight difference until I read these threads, non-issue even if you want to make it one I'm afraid, yeah sure you can pretend it's a big deal but don't expect much sympathy in the real world...

To OP,this is not a serious thread/question,right? Simply a wind up. We're talking a few ounces,right? I can't believe actually responded.
