iPad Pro How did you get your Apple Pencil?

I checked hourly and preordered mine from MacMall, literally before they even had product images added to the listings. (I still don't think they have the Pencil in stock for the first time yet.)

Eventually, I had to settle for a profiteer on eBay, and still received it about a month after it originally sold in Apple stores. Whew. : |
 
I was able to grab from a batch that was delivered to Best Buy in mid-November. Ended up buying 3 Pencils that day (1 for me, 2 for friends) out of the 10 they had.
 
Thanks to a thread on here, after checking several stores mentioned, ordered mine from Verison late Saturday night. It's in stock if you can add it to the cart. Suppose to be free 2-day shipping on accessory orders over $49 which this is but option didn't appear on the order form or at checkout. $6.99 2-day FedEx (you need to sign for it at delivery). Still working on getting credit for the shipping with Customer Service (who tried to issue but system wouldn't let them so they are looking into it) but will be delighted to have on Wednesday.

I would have ordered from Apple or picked up at the store but not seeing anything except half a State away. Decided I didn't want to wait any longer now that I have the iPP. And it gets delivered to our home so no running around to pick one up.
 
Despite living in the 2nd largest (or maybe 3rd now) city in the country, I haven't been able to snag one from any of the 7 Apple stores near me.
So I just gave up waiting and bought one off Amazon; the extra $30-$40 wasn't much of an issue since the Seller will probably only see like $10-$15 of that amount due to Amazon's fees.
If anyone still needs one, I see a few available for only like $150 right now.
It's better than waiting for who knows how long.

My Verizon Apple Pencil order was $99.97 plus sales tax and $6.99 2-day delivery by FedEx (which I'm hoping to get credited back due to free ship offers on their site*). Pencil is still in stock since you can add it to the cart.

Walmart.com was selling it for $111 (sold out as of right this moment).


*spoke with Verizon tonight since Pencil had shipped today and they could locate the order in their system now and was issued a credit for the $6.99 back to our cc for the erroneously charged shipping fee. So yes, Verizon has free shipping on it.

Walked into A.Store and asked what iPad Pro they had in stock.. Exactly the one I wanted, kb and pencil were there too. Strange that there be a shortage of styli...
 
I got mine from my college campus bookstore. They are a authorized Apple campus store so they are licensed to sell Apple products. They had two left in stock and I snagged one for myself. Thank god for these little stores where no one would think to go to.
 
I ordered the Pencil from Sam's Club's online store on Dec. 30 for $94.88 with free shipping via FedEx Home. It's supposed to arrive on Wednesday.

The Pencil doesn't appear to be available currently but it may be worthwhile to keep checking.
 
I ordered mine on Friday 1/1/16 on Verizon. I received mine today from FedEx. Definitely a lot quicker. I also got charged the 6.99 shipping and will have to try to call tomorrow to try to get that credited back. I also just checked BestBuy and it is now available on their website as of my post as well.

Hope it goes smoothly on the cc refund. Let us know. This was the first time doing business with them online and I liked we could check out as a guest. My pencil is just a town away at FedEx now so am sure they will deliver as expected tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to using it.

So I looked at the BB offering and it's only 2 cents more than Verizon, no biggie, but they said they provide free standard shipping and for my zip code I wouldn't receive until the 15th! And no in-store pick up. Unless you get reward points or use a gift card for BB, still looking like the Verizon deal is the fastest in your hand.

For me, BB lists "FREE expedited shipping" and says it would arrive in 2 days. That's not too bad. I paid them the 6 bucks for overnight. Tired of waiting for this thing lol.

Got mine online at ATTwireless at the end of last month, it unexpectedly shipped overnight.
 
I initially ordered from Amazon yesterday for $140+ Prime, thinking it would arrive tomorrow. But when they said it would arrive Thursday, I immediately cancelled. Ordered from BestBuy this am with overnight shipping.
 
I received an email this morning that Walmart has them in stock online...and after just checking, they still do. I personally ordered one about 2 weeks ago and picked it up 2 days later at the Walmart in my town.

Bought my first Pencil from Best Buy after seeing they were listed as in-stock at my local store.

Bought the second one from BB Online and had it delivered by 2 day shipping.

Bought the Apple Smart Keyboard from BB Online as well with 2 day shipping, though bought two at same time; one for me and one for a friend who also wanted one).
 
I was able to order smart keyboard at Best Buy online yesterday. They had a limit of 1 per customer.
 
I Just keep checking the pick-up availability (online) for your local Apple stores. I found a Smart Keyboard and Pencil (nearby) within two days. I've found that checking around 10:30 is usually when they update their stock quantities.
