If you work for Apple, wouldn't you have some better sources than a rumors site?

Not necessarily. The vast majority of Apple employees wouldn't have the faintest idea what's in the Apple pipeline. Even those working on up 'n' coming projects would have knowledge that's limited in scope. They might have the next generation Mac's specs, but would have no idea what the shipping configurations would be, what it will look like, what the price point will be. And they wouldn't know much about other projects they're not working on.

Products/services which don't require as broad testing (such as new iPod models) can be kept much more secret than a new Mac.
 
Just break into Sarah Palin's email account. Then you don't have to worry about revisiting MR again.

Both @Weaselboy and @SandboxGeneral have explained how to delete your account, or an account, and @Weaselboy provided the relevant link (contained in an earlier post written by @SandboxGeneral).

Simply use the "contact us" link to ask the staff to delete your account and they will readily do so.
