Faulty temperature sensor (TP0P) resulting in 100% fan speed all the time.

Things like iStatMenus or smcFanControl don't allow adjusting below the SMC-min-threshold.
So are there any software or easy hardware workarounds for this?

Thanks

Just be aware that setting a specific fan speed can result in damage should temperature increase without you knowing.

that’s one old MBPro.
assuming you’ve reset the SMC and NVRAM to no avail, why not a full erase and install of the latest macOS your mac will run and see how you go then?
