i guess i cant use the thunderbolt 2 wire...i dont have a usb 3.0 male to male...i DO have a hub that i can use on the new macbook pro but i dont know if i have a wire that would fit the both macs at the same time that transfers data...?

do i go thru migration assistant or is there some other way?

airdrop would take forever...anyone have any ideas?

    thanks in advance.

Do you have a Time Machine backup to an external USB drive? You could use an adaptor on the cable then attach that to the new MacBook and use the TM backup as the source to import during the setup assistant process.

I'm assuming here you are getting a new MBP with the TouchBar.
