How do I upload an excel file to a post?

I tried to attach it as I would a photo, but it didn't show up in my post. I'm still on a PC if that makes a difference. Here is the offending link if that helps.

When you create a post (or click "Edit" on an existing post, then "Go Advanced"), you can click the following icon to add files to your post:

In the window that pops up, you will see the various file types and sizes that you can upload.

I tried that and saved it as a pdf this time (which was one of the options). Can't get it to open now though.

Sorry and me. I was just being dumb! Your a legend by the way with all your advice. Can't wait to put some of the theory to the test when I actually get my first Mac. Now I just need to decide which one.....
