Return the 7 and replace it with a 6S. You clearly favour the headphone jack enough to be adamant against getting a new setup for the 7. Not that I blame you.

I posted an adapter that had good reviews a few days ago... Everyone asked why I posted it? What did I have to share about it? What is my question?

So I contacted a mod to delete it, because I am tired of helping people on this forum who then question why I'm helping. Did the same thing when I posted 40+ steps to get better battery life on an iDevice. Within a day I had 4 or 5 pages of people saying I was an idiot and that I was better off not having a phone because it was "useless". The next day someone asked how to get the best battery life, and I told them I couldn't help because I'm an idiot and I don't want to make their phone useless by turning off features they don't use.

Just thought it was funny to see this come up now that my post is gone, which was the solution to the OP's question.

Well I don't know if it's funny, but assuming OP is not aware of any of this, it would seem fair to share your solution with him.

btw, I think I remember that post you're referring to, and iirc it seemed like a nice option for those wanting to "charge and listen" at the same time.

MOD NOTE: We are generally suspicious of posters who post a link to kickstarter without further comment so we may well have removed your thread anyhow.

Here's a MacWorld link with 7 solutions to this, some which are already available and others still remaining vaporware, including your kickstarter.

Point is you wouldn't be awake by that time for it to matter if the music was still playing

I certainly wouldn't want to want to fall asleep with music playing anyway. Would be more likely to randomly wake up in the night with earphones on. Wouldn't want that personally
Clearly you're missing one of my arguments, but that's ok. Think what you like. You live your life your way, others do it like me perhaps. I am saying I understand this persons argument and can relate. Sorry that you can't. Enjoy your day

My argument wasn't that people shouldn't listen to music as they fall asleep. My point was using air pods instead is a great option and if it died after 5 hours it wouldn't matter as you would be asleep anyway
