I'm just thinking...now we want a 4k resolution iPhone LOL I think we'd pretty much need a car battery to carry around to get us through the day. Lol

Yeah, the people asking for 4K resolution on a phone with our current batteries are just crazy, IMO.

Like @zorinlynx stated IPS panel in XR has one big advantage over OLED (AMOLED / P-OLED) no burn in issue. Regarding resolution it should be slightly higher so no scaling is needed and black bezels should have the same width like in XS and XS Max (product unification). Unfortunately clever Apple marketing with Tim Cook made a lot of effort to sell the most expensive models first and to feel that XR look worse. If there were some technological reasons for different black bezels size (glass strength???) I am glad to hear it from Apple engineers or even Tim (are you listening?). Also one important thing: from luxury the most advanced smartphone I expect top user experience when I use the most popular apps like Yt or Netflix eg.the best video quality and I do not care if Apple does not like Netflix / Google and vice versa. When user experience using Netflix on iPhone Xs is worse than on Samsung S9 or LG G7 then something is definitely wrong and should be changed and maybe Apple should hide ego sometimes. In the past Apple was a company tightly connected with cinema industry offering the best video and audio experience. Now they are followers.
