I actually bought an ilugger for my 27" ATD. I work out of my beach condo for a week approximately every other month. It is great to get away from the office distractions and catch up on special projects that never seem to get done when in the office. Plus... having a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean from my desk is good for the soul.

To date, I have been using just my MBA and also a Polycom for phone meetings. Adding the 27" Thunderbolt display, wireless keyboard, trackpad and mouse to my MBA has proven to improve productivity substantially!

I had considered using the ATD box... but it is bulky, and eventually fails. The iLugger is much easier to load and protects everything (including peripherals) nicely. For me... it was a no brainer to get the ATD and the carrying case from iLugger.
