I guess the problem is when you sit down with the XR in your pocket. I just can't imagine that being comfortable.

I carry my XR like a boss according to XR fans,

And like a peasant to X/XS/max/traditionalist 8/8+ elitists :p

I’m not a small guy. I can’t wear slim fit clothes. Not jacked.. overweight by about 10 lbs. Had XR in my jeans pocket tonight at dinner, in its case & forgot it was there. Lucky jeans if that helps.

Side holster -the same way I have carried every iPhone I have ever had.Easily accessible, I don't have to remove it when I sit down, and I don't have to worry about it falling out of a front pocket. I clip it on my belt and there it stays. Before I retired there were a few people at work who made fun of the way i carried my phone. One of those individuals damaged his when he forgot to remove it from his back pocket before sitting, another one slipped in the parking lot and his flew out of his front pocket and his screen busted when it hit ice.

I get made fun of all the time, yet I have the least phone portability problems as a result

i think XR would be uncomfortable having it in a front pocket while sitting.

I like the size of SE as it is very inconspicuous when sitting. Even 6 was ok. But with XR I am guessing it’s just to big when sitting and having it in a front pocket.
[doublepost=1545022699][/doublepost]I don’t like the idea of carrying it in a holster either. Ugh.

I'm surprised at how many people carry their phones in their front pocket. I've carried all of my phones in my left back pocket. Never had a problem with damage and I usually don't notice it's there. Only issue is my iPhone X in an Otterbox case wears out my pocket. I have a few jeans with ripped pockets.

I just bought one and I'm going to carry it in a geeky leather pouch on my belt, like my other phones. :)

Front pocket is actually a natural positioning to keep a slab like device. On the back pocket you put unnecessary pressure while sitting as the buttocks bend and there have been too many instances of broken screens due to pressure for me to not care. Also there’s always the chance of getting pickpocketed.

Front right pocket, but I have a pair of jeans that has smaller pockets and with the headphones plugged in it feels uncomfortable when taking stairs. I almost fear breaking the connector off lol.
