According to Apple's new battery test, that's normal. My iPhone 5S has been doing the exact same. If it's windy outside, It'll die even at 70% battery.

Did you ever find a fix for your phone?

I still had guarantee left and left it for maintenence at my local authorized retailer who ran the new official Apple battery diagnostic thingy, which eventually stated there's nothing wrong with my battery?!

Eventually they proposed that we'd lie that the phone has antenna issues and send it to maintenence. (WTF?!) Apparently in most cases you just get a new phone.

i see my battery gets up to 38c when playing games and idles @28-29c is that normal ?

I hope I don't get in trouble for posting in this top that's a year old, but I was searching how to check your iPhone battery health, as weird thing happened, I woke up today, and my 7+ was down to 2%, don't know how that happened.

I like that coconutBattery for the Mac, not sure this is good but here goes.

Current Charge: 2773 mAH at 92.3%
Full Charge Capacity: 3011 mAH

Design Capacity 2900 mAH 100%

Cycle Count: 24
Temp: 80.6 Degrees F

As for my Mac, which I've had since August 2014.

Current Charge: 4739 mAH at 99.6%
Full Charge Capacity: 4757 mAH

Design Capacity: 5100 mAH at 99.3%

Manufacture Date: 3/7/14
Cycle Count: 108
macOS Battery Status: Good
Battery Temp: 97.6 Degrees F

Are these ok? The iOS tab doesn't tell me battery status.

Again sorry for bumping a year old topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Very good stats actually. Something happened with the phone though - did you check analytics?
Not sure how to check Analytics, is there an app on the app store to check?

I tried the Battery Health app, the one that has a free 7 day trial, and when it was down to like 25%, I did the test, it said Your battery is dying, then I did it at 100%, and it said excellent health, deleted it, and ended trial, ridiculous.

I can't find the one that isn't free that others mentioned in here, not sure which it is, I clicked the link but it says not available in my iTunes store(I'm US).

I meant check analytics in settings (under privacy) but that's a bit technical, was thinkoing maybe there is a process using battery. A better option would be to check the battery section in your settings to see if an app is using a high percentage of your battery, especially in the background. Batter health and Lirum Info (I use both) are pretty good as far as ios apps go but their utility was crippled by ios 10. Coconut battery is really the best app to check your battery, and battery in settings to see how it is being used.
