how do you create a boot disk?

Don't ask my why I need it, I guess it's just the geek in me. New to mac's. Something about being able to boot up from a 4gig micro sd card appeals to me. How does one create a bootable disk?

I think the CD with your Mac is the reinstallation disk (if that is what you are referring to)

Boot to your installation disk by holding down the option key when starting. Have the USB stick inserted and install to that. If you need to format the USB drive, disk utility is available in the menu when booted form the install cd.
