It's up to $1K off with trade-in if you do it through carrier financing. The trade-in has to go through the carrier, not Apple.
Yeah, the carrier financing is the new 2-year contractIt's up to $1K off with trade-in if you do it through carrier financing. The trade-in has to go through the carrier, not Apple.
People are not reading the carrier offers.Okay, I just looked at AT&T, and they said my iPhone is worth only $600. And it looks like they pay it as a monthly billing credit. I'm used to just buying my iPhones outright.
Which carrier is giving $1000?
You're making me regret my decision of letting go of my iPhone 11 Pro Max, but yes, I do agree that the photos are over-processed... It seems to me that the only good thing regarding iPhone 12 series and newer is Dolby Vision [HDR video]Also the videos & pictures they demonstrated of the new camera looks super over-processed still. Meaning that the iPhone 11 Pro still has the best camera system of all the iPhones.
They did. Nothing new.I don't recall them quoting a maximum trade-in value in previous years that was so out of line with what Apple is paying.
That's why you sell it on eBay or right here in the Macrumors classifieds. How is it possible that Tim Apple can charge $1200 for the Pro Max and a year later only gives nearly HALF for trade in credit? I mad mad mad
Agree - if you don't want to hassle with selling it yourself, then better to go with Apple or carrier trade in.That's why you sell it on eBay or right here in the Macrumors classifieds.
Trading it in is the same as trading a car in. If you can't be bovvered to spend the time selling it yourself and getting what it's worth on the market, because your time is more valuable than the difference in $, then trading it in and just losing a few hundred extra dollars is an alternate option that makes more sense.
Apple US is only offering $400 for the 14 Pro.Apple Vietnam is offering about $640 USD for my iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB. Doesn't seem too bad.
I'm not really complaining about only getting $650. That's about the same trade-in values they've given for the last few years. My point is that they were being deceptive by saying you can get up to $1000. I don't recall them quoting a maximum trade-in value in previous years that was so out of line with what Apple is paying.
I checked there and their offer was much lower than Apple's trade-in value for my 13 Pro. It looks like they are better for newer phones.I sent mine off to itsworthmore.com last week and already got back $770 for my base 15 pro max in "very good" condition.
Why does Apple owe you any trade-in money at all? You bought the phone. You can do whatever you want with it, including selling it if you don't like what Apple is offering.CRIMINAL is an understatement.
How is it possible that Tim Apple can charge $1200 for the Pro Max and a year later only gives nearly HALF for trade in credit? It isn't even cash we are talking about and then to release a new iPhone that is super underwhelming? I have lost faith in Apple for the first time for being super greedy. They are not decently fair like they used to be. People should stop defending a company that does not value us. Without us
They are NOTHINGAlso the videos & pictures they demonstrated of the new camera looks super over-processed still. Meaning that the iPhone 11 Pro still has the best camera system of all the iPhones.
I'm sure they're talking about Verizon/ATT probably subsidizing you $1000 IF you agree to a contract.During the Apple event this morning, they said you can get up to $1000 off the price of a new iPhone with a trade-in. I checked on the Apple website, and they only offered $650 for the trade-in for my iPhone 15 Pro Max with 512GB storage. WTF? Seems deceptive to me.

What device have now? Trade in value and getting $1000 credits are two different deals. Looks like if you have ip12 or newer can get $1000. Monthly over 36.I'm not really complaining about only getting $650. That's about the same trade-in values they've given for the last few years.
