I'm fine with people who just merely criticize the product. Like battery life isn't enough, would be better with wireless built in, etc. But that's not what most of it is, especially in the "twittersphere."
First of all, acting like hundreds of millions of people have a collective opinion about anything is beyond stupid. Secondly, who here has wanted sound advice from intelligent people and headed straight for Twitter, the land of keyboard courage?
I did a quick search on gold Rolex watches to see how much they cost. I found numerous ones over $30,000. These watches barely do more than tell time, so you might think an objective analyst would say a watch that is basically a computer would be a better deal at $10,000 compared to a watch with maybe a few other analog functions at $30,000.
But no. It's basically comparisons of the Edition model with Pebble so the absurdity can be cranked up to 11. Apple also made another $400 device that had only 10 hours of battery life and required a Mac to use 12 years ago. It was more expensive than other similar devices and really, who needed such a thing?
350 million iPods later, you think people would have learned.
