I upgraded last year from the Mini 2 to the Mini 3 because of touch id . What I actually wanted to know is if there's a huge difference between 3 and 4 .

Unlike the 2 to 3, there are actually internal and form factor differences from 3 to 4.

- Faster A8 processor rather than an A7
- 2 GB of RAM which allows for split screen multitasking rather than 1 GB.
- Mini 4 is thinner.
- Mini 4 has a better display. Same resolution, but better colour reproduction and a laminated display, basically making it so that what you see is closer to the surface, so to speak. In fact, it's been said that the Mini 4 has the best display of all current iPads.

Thank you ! I'll think about it . I don't use the split screen much on my mac , that's why I'm hesitating .

I don't use it very much either, but I think that the other improvements make it a significant upgrade.

The processor is faster, more ram, fully laminated display, and wireless AC.
