I think until Apple builds the infrastructure maybe with icloud to support this so developers can have a central location for such info I think you are SOL.

Only option as someone mention is to jailbreak to get access to the OS to download and upload save game info.

I'm sure at some point this will happen as this would be nice to be able to play the same game on multiple devices iPhone/iPad and pick up where you left off. Or in your case remove and reinstall a game and pick up where you left off.

Perhaps you could provide a list of exactly what you have that's taking up 28GB.

I have dozens of games and thousands of songs on my iPhone. I'm still nowhere near full.

But he IS full - what's your point?

Tony

Don't read much, do you?

I asked him to post a list to see exactly what is taking up the space.

My point is what's the point of a LIST posted here? I think he knows what's on his phone and how much space it takes up (it's listed right on the apps tab in iTunes). What can you add to that?

Tony

Being snarky just to be snarky, eh?

Forget any help I would or could have offered. OP, thank the rude poster above.

Good luck.

EDIT: And now it's back. I remember you and your attitude from previous posts. Glad the ignore list exists so I can filter you out. Buh-bye.

Here is a list of what I have, I have under 1 gig of pics besides this, no music, no videos. Granted there is a few lite versions of games I have not tried yet or demoed yet. This is filling up my phone.

Get an iPod Touch 64gb or a girlfriend

The idea is to not need 2 devices... Have a girlfriend and her phone is approaching the same fate here before to long.

Then pray for a 64GB iPhone! :D

LOL I love how simple your answer is. I am hoping, but honestly I would rather just see an option for app data not to be deleted when the app is, then space would not have such an impact. Honestly I would prefer that only because I would love to have less on the phone personally. I am removing some that have had time since I last played, but I know as soon as I do I will want to play it and my save will be gone lol.

Yeah, it's a bummer. I rarely play games (I'm not much of a gamer - no PC games, no console(s), etc.). I would delete any games that you don't play very often or that are just lite versions wasting space. I only play simple games such as Flight Control, Doodle Jump, Fruit Ninja and Harbor Master. :)

Ya I definitely own those few games and love them. Its the bigger games that butcher my phone like Rage HD, Shadow Guardian, Infinity Blade and much more lol. Some are over 1GB a piece, while others are very close.

To answer your question...I command my phone to expand its storage capacity, with my mind. Needless to say, it quickly bends to my will.

Well hopefully they will implement the ability for iCloud to save game progress. It only seems natural they do this but then again its taken them several years to finally add custom text tones...
