Bit of a strange one (hey its a RJ post!) but I tend to go after girls I actually dream about.
Way back in secondary school I had a dream about this brunette with a pony tail at some kind of 'education' place, had a fountain too! Among a whole load of other people we kept walking beside each other. years later I met her at college, a place I wasn't planning on going until 2 weeks after the course began! the spitting image of the girl in my dream. Very strange.
I go for someone who likes to laugh, not necessarily to be funny themselves. someone who doesn't drink, has a strong mind, naturally beautiful, creative, must love British TV as much as me (and Apple 😉 ). Actually I don't really care. So long as the person is amazing. I have no type. None of my previous girlfriends have ever been slightly the same! ah well.

Hmm. I definitely go for dark hair, pale Scottish skin and dark eyes. Glasses are nice too. Height's unimportant, as is weight. A certain amount of their own style (whatever that is) is good.
As far as men go, I like a nice beard, or at least stubble or the evidence thereof. Hairyness is a good thing.
Short haired, slightly dominant women do it for me as well. 😱
Having said that, it's quite possible that I could fall for someone who bears no resemblance to the above — a good sense of humour, kindness, quiet confidence, intelligence/skillfulness and a passion for life will get me every time.

Physically: short, slim, green or blue eyes, brunette or redhead, and a cute face.
Personality-wise, they've got to have a sense of humor and a good head on their shoulders and able to appreciate a wide variety of things, art styles, musical styles, philosophy, theology, etc.

I have no particular preference. Someone who gets along with me (Which is not as massive a cop-out as it might seem. I'm extremely difficult to live with) at least for a while, ideally for a long time. All of the 'at least for a whiles' have been very different.
