Now that I'm running Ventura I'm using Stage Manager and really loving it. It's exactly how I want to use my laptop. Prior to this I'd hide all other apps running and bring them back up (usually from the dock) or put them side-by-side on the odd occasion. This treats this as the default window management behaviour of the OS. It's great!
There are definitely improvements to be made. I wish alt-tab could me modified to move between stages, that there were keyboard shortcuts, and dragging things into stages worked differently. But the fundamentals of this seem very strong!
