Oh, great. I'll be dead before it gets the smallest bit of color. We don't see the sun here in Portland.

I use leather conditioner. Just make sure you get a good one that gets absorbed into the leather, not one that creates a coating on top of the leather.

I love mine.

I like leather bags and have used them in the past. My only issue with them is that leather tends to be heavier then other materials and adds too much extra weight.

The bag only weighs 6.5lbs. This bag is built extremely well.

6.5lbs is a lot considering an iPad and/or MacBook already weigh a lot already. Yes those leather satchels and briefcases are nice and very smart looking but in practical terms the high strength nylon bags from companies like Tom Bihn and North Face add a lot less weight and are typically more practical design wise in my opinion. There is no way I could carry my MacBook and /or iPad along with my headphones, glasses and other bits and pieces on my daily commute to work or any where else for that matter in a leather bag.

Leather doesn't have to be thick. They can be thinned down to whatever thickness you want. Of course, thicker leather is more durable, but with thinned leather lined with cloth, you can get very light bags which are very durable, even lighter than high strength nylon, and has the leather look and feel. I have no idea how much bags like that would cost to make if made for commercial sale, though. My mom made some leather bags for me back when she used to work with industrial sewing machines, and one of them happens to be perfect for iPad Pro.

It's really not that heavy to be honest. I use the included shoulder strap to carry it like a messenger bag.

Hands. I carry it from the couch to the bedroom and then back to the couch.

I just can't find scenarios where I'd need a 13" tablet outside of the house.

LOL. I can see how many people will just get iPP for use at home. I was planning to keep it mostly at home, but then I found that I needed it at the office. Then I found I can use it on the bus. Now I'm very glad I got the cellular model. :p
