How do you turn your MacBook Pro completely off?

Some of the sarcastic posts seem out of place to me here. I mean - it's not illogical to assume a laptop in 2022 can actually be turned 100% off.

Talking about this in terms of "100% off" is part of the reason for the sarcasm. The problem isn't how off it is but how it powers back on.
