I get the same behavior as Mlrollin91.
That's interesting. There seem to be several of us in both experience camps.

I'll see if there's anything on the developer forums, and I guess that I'll report it as a bug. I assumed that it was intended behavior, so I never reported it as a bug in any of the betas.

Edited to add: Are the "learned" computers Macs or PCs?

All 5 of mine are Macs. 2 iMacs, 1 MBP and 2 MBAs.

Maybe it writes something to a file and requires admin privileges to do it, and some of you are running setups with standard privs. Check console logs maybe.

That may be the difference right there. All but one of the ones I've connected to are Windows 7 or 8 machines. My iPad did "learn" to "trust" my Mac, but it was also synced with that Mac.

I'll try one of my other devices that's never been synced with that Mac tonight.

Apparently Windows PCs aren't to be trusted. I tried a few iOS 7 devices on my Mac, and "Trust" was learned, including an iPad mini that had never been synced with that Mac. I've tried several devices on several Windows PCs, and "Trust" has not been learned.

The only thing I haven't tried is syncing with a Windows PC, to see if an iOS 7 device learns to "Trust".

I didn't report anything in the end. I'm guessing that it's working as designed.

Interesting, but it seems to solve the confusion. Thanks for the information.

Not true. My main iTunes library that I sync with is on windows home server 2011 and its trusted.

Do you have reading comprehension issues? I said that I hadn't tried syncing with a Windows machine to see if an iOS 7 device can learn to "trust" it.

But with half a dozen iOS 7 devices and several different Windows 7 and 8 PCs, just plugging an iOS 7 device in to charge, and clicking "Trust," that "trust" is not remembered.

It wasn't worth my time to install iTunes on a Windows machine and sync an iOS 7 device with it just to test out that combination.

Auto USB Ports

I've found that I am getting errors on the USB in my car constantly since the IOS7 -- I believe it's due to the TRUST and NOT TRUST function. Would this be the case?? I get USB ERROR, or USB NOT SUPPORTED. I NEVER had this problem with IOS6. Please help!!!:apple:

Hi

So many unhelpful 'answers' in this thread. Decided to register just to drop some knowledge.

Anyway... I just had to solve the same issue. I accidentally hit 'trust' when I plugged my phone into my Win7 work PC. To solve...

Unplug phone and navigate to:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy

After doing this, the pop-up returned the next time I plugged the phone in. Side affect is that you need to re-auth other apps that use any sort of privacy and location data (ie. Find Friends, Maps, etc)

This is on iOS 7.1

I deleted /var/db/lockdown as stated in http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5335

This did work for me. All the authorizations are gone! You may need to pinpoint the correct file if you want to delete only one authorization.

This is the correct solution. Thank you for pointing it out. I've searched for this a few times and came across the suggestion on another site and now see it here in this thread too. It appears to be answered by the same person.

I can also confirm that you can delete the file whose name matches the UDID of the device if you only want to remove one device and not all. Once the file is deleted the next time a connection is made trust will be asked for again.

To get the UDID of your device while in iTunes under your device view the summary tab will display serial number. Click serial number and it will change to the UDID. Match the UDID to the file name for the file found in the lockdown folder and you will know which file to delete.

Once you tap Trust, the iPhone will continue to trust that computer automatically.

The easiest way to remove that trust is to go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy. This will reset your location and privacy settings to factory defaults and you'll get the alert to Trust This Computer again the next time you connect your iPhone.
