You can annotate PDFs in Goodreader? How?

Just touch and hold a word. That will bring up the cut and paste type of box you can drag to cover text, and a menu with options to highlight, add a note etc.

It's really easy, and pretty functional. It lacks some options like drawing etc. that iAnnotate has. But if you just need to highlight and add notes, it's great and gets rid of the need to buy iAnnotate.

I'm not familiar w/ iAnnotate but the annotation functionality of good reader works well - I just tap and hold on either a word or open Space, hit "draw" from the menu that pops up, then hit "freehand" (there are other options too). Works great.

I stand corrected, I didnt' notice the draw option before.

I use my iPad as my "official" alarm clock in the mornig. When I wake up, I immediately turn on my Pandora App and either listen to my stations. Not one in particular. just matters how i feel that morning. I then head to the toilet(music still goin) to take my morning drop off and to surf the web a bit and get my news in.

After that(washed hands and all), a little spray for the room

Tmi

, I grab my attire for the day(iPad still in hand), and I head on over to the ironing board to get spiffy. After im dressed and ready to go, I head out for work. Upon arriving to my desk in the morning, I set the pad up for news reading and surfing for the next hour or two. After that, I just leave it up to receive my ESPN score updates, textplus messages, and e-mails.

Im usually off at five and arrive home at about 6. If im feeling like a chef that day, Ill set the iPad up in the kitchen and open up my one of my cook book apps and attempt to not burn the kitchen down. I mostly eat out for dinner (which is unhealthy I know, but i do it anyway) so my kitchens chances of being burned up are slimmer than it may seem. A lot of times, I turn netflix on on the tv and continue some light surfing on the pad. But if Im not in the surfing mood, the pad just sits there yelling out notifications to me. I eventually do some skyping and facetime to my brother who stays in Miami and my friend who lives in atlanta before I hit the hay.

Once I do go to bed, i hit the netflix app on the pad then to continue what I was watching in the living room. My tv went out on me a couple of weeks ago so the pad comes in handy in the bedroom. If i get tired of netflix before I actually fall asleep, ill usually use my TuneIn radio app to listen to quietstorm or my pandora app.

If u havent noticed, there is not one mention of a girlfriend, life partner, wife or any of that nonsense. My iPad is my girlfriend, plus a relationship is another job and Im not one for woking two jobs. And since that job doesnt come with pay checks, I consider it slavery.

On the weekends is when i do my heavy usage. Its a all of what I already mentioned but in a two day period w/o any breaks. LOL. I plan on going back to finish up sschool in the fall, so i imagine my habits or what i actually use the pad for will change a bit. As u can see, I didnt buy the ipad for really creating content. Im more of a consumer which is what the ipad is for anyway mostly right now. I dib and dab with garageband and make a few quick videos every now and then(just for fun mainly) but im definitely a consumer as I imagine most of u are too.

I use to have over 1500 friends on facebook and was a facebook junkie. I realized that wasnt good and decided to delete all my friends that werent either family or really close friends about a month ago. I now have 65 friends. Thats worked out great for me. I never have any news in my news feed anymore. I tweet maybe 6 times a month. Social networking just isnt my thinganymore, at least for the time being. Macrumors is about as social as I get right now.

I think you missed out on a shower somewhere in there.
