How Durable is a Macbook Pro 13"?

I backed over my wife's in our Subaru Outback, and it still boots up.

How does this happen unintentionally?

The chassis won't break, but it will dent and scratch easily.

How does this happen unintentionally?

I wish I knew. I think it had something to do with being with the in-laws, packing up the car for an 8 hr drive, and dealing with a fussy infant. Chalk it up to one of those, "I never thought this would happen to me" kind of things...

My Macbook Pro in my leather case fell from the top of my suitcase at the airport, and still is going strong (knock on the wood). It was almost thrown out of one of those plastic boxes by a TSA officer at SFO airport, and still going strong...

I'd say, without trying, that my MBP is pretty durable. I may be nuts, but I believe that the 13' may be the most solid of the MBP line, because of its size...
