I had a headphone that could be used both wired and Bluetooth. However, while the sound quality was amazing with the cable connected, I felt that the sound was lower quality when using it wirelessly. What I'm wondering is, will I notice this poor quality in the AirPods Pro 3? I plan to use it on both my Apple and Windows devices.

Unfortunately, the walls of the apartment I'm staying in right now are very poor and there is no sound insulation whatsoever. Will ANC help me?

Do you think it's worth it? Is there a noticeable difference in quality between EarPods and AirPods?

Thanks

Since you plan to use it in the Windows environment as well as the Apple environment, You should look at the Beats line of headphones / in ear earphones. Beats do a better job of supporting multiple operating systems vs the Apple AirPods Pro, they even have an Android App to give them the full functionality as if you were on an Apple device, haven't used Windows for a decade but I imagine the Beats product would be better than an Apple product on Windows.

My favorite in ear Beat product is the Beats Fit Pro which also supports ANC and the same H2 chip of the APP3.

Pedantic correction, but the Beats Fit Pro have the H1 chip, the same as the original AirPods Pro but not the AirPods Pro 2 and 3 which have the H2. Also, Beats Fit Pro have been replaced by the Powerbeats Fit (https://www.beatsbydre.com/earbuds/powerbeats-fit), which are also using only the H1.

One of the limits of the H1 is that it lacks the adaptive mode that the APP2 and APP3 offer, and the noise cancellation is not quite as good (though I would argue, as an owner of the Beats Fit Pro, are good enough for me.)

Thank you for the correction, when Beats stated that they had a new model of the Fit, I assumed they also adapted the H2 chip. I never actually went to their website to look at the new product thinking it was just an upgrade for the chipset. I see that the new model Beats did away with the physical programmable buttons of the Fit Pro, I love those buttons so I see no reason to upgrade to the latest version.

I use the AirPods Pro3 around the house and the Beats Powerbeats Pro2 while exercising and/or riding my mountain bike. Both are excellent and honestly I can't tell the difference between the two. Both have outstanding quality when it comes to music or phone calls. The noise cancellation is better in the AirPods if that's important to you.

ANC is important to me, but I haven't tried this type of headphone before. Sometimes I wonder if I should get the earplugs used in factories. 🙁

I want to keep it in my ear all the time and use it both on my Windows 11 system and my iPhone.
