How is a white 4S girly?

If you want to sterotype colors then you could also say that black is for dumb jocks with an IQ of 60 who will never amount to anything in the corporate world.
Of course I'm not stupid enough to say something like that based on the color of someones phone.

White is far better looking than black. I enjoy white, because when I think of Apple, I think of their products being White. I will never purchase a black iPhone. White or Alum for me. Besides my girl has a black iPhone 4, I don't want her picking up my 4s instead of her 4.
Because some people think some things and others other things. It's got some to do with color theory too, white is usually associated with brides, purity, and so forth.
Stephen Colbert would never buy black because it's neither red, white, or blue, leaving white as the only option for his freedom phone.
It's not girly (and I'm a girl, so I would kinda know). Besides, if you're that unhappy with an all white phone, you can always put a case on it and basically make it any color you like.
Nope! Not at all! I bought the 64gig white one and it will be here in the morning. The white one just "pops" and has a clean look. Compared to somewhat boring black, I prefer the white. There are too many black ones out there, white is cool. Think of white as a unisex color.
Anyone who thinks the white is "girly" is just reassuring their decision or ignorant. The white looks sophisticated makes smudges and scratches harder to notice and absorbs MUCH less heat than the black so you won't have an awkwardly hot phone if you are outside or in the car on a hot day.
It doesn't really work like that. Haha just because you are a girl doesn't make you always right...even though I lose that argument with my girlfriend all the time. To contrast what you said, my girlfriend says that the white iPhone is really girly.
I ordered a white one because I think they look better. I could care less if it's "manly" or not. One of my good friends is a transvestite, I hang out in public with him. Who cares?
lol, not sure where exactly I said I was always right, but OK then. To me, pink is girly. Light purple is girly. White, not so much.
