It is smooth but I still have some service issues. Again, it's hard to say if this is an iOS 7 issue or just something that changed around my neighborhood. Also, when I go to the clock it goes to the timer automatically every time. It used to open to the alarm clock since that is all that I used but not anymore.
Are you talking about going to the Clock app, or using the timer shortcut in the Control Center?

Hmmm. Well, is that supposed to be a timer shortcut? Of so, it always went to the alarm and not the timer. Beta 4 now takes me to the timer.

Moderate battery improvements, but calls are dropping and phone is randomly resetting, so an overall step down from beta 3

Yes, it's supposed to go to the timer. The icon in Control Center matches the Timer tab icon in the app. I believe there was a bug in previous betas which caused the shortcut to bring you to your last visted tab in the Clock app or something like that.

Goddamnt, I want the bug back!

It runs super smooth. There are some graphical glitches in certain apps, usually just things being cut off at the top or bottom. The only thing I'm still really struggling with is battery life. Almost 20% an hour. Standby time is excellent. Whenever that screen is on though, battery life just vanishes.

Only issue is iTunes WIFI sync still doesnt work (hasnt worked sice B1) and I get random restarts which I didnt have any of in B1 or B3.

So how is Beta 4 for you all? Is it good? Ok? Bad? Sound off on any praises or complaints you have about this Beta.

For me the experience has been great! I wish I could say its flawless but of course it isn't. It's as good as it could get in a beta. A few bugs here and there and glitches but overall compared to Beta 3 (which was very unstable for me) it's good have a Beta that doesn't make me abandon ship to iOS 6.1. Looks like I'll be riding this beta out.

To me, it is much less stable than beta 3. I've had it reboot several times using Mail and Safari. Not today, but yesterday was a bad day.

Otherwise, it is growing on me.

It runs good for me so far. I've had 1 random reboot but hasn't happened since. I did the OTA update.. im thinking of fresh installing it to see if the battery improves (although its not too bad now)...

Beta 4 on iPad 3 is very stable. I had to restore after beta 2 and 3 as those were real buggy. I still see few bugs here and there and had few resprings but nothing compared to previous betas.

Battery is not the greatest, even with clean install and following developers battery fix suggestions. The animations have improved and I really like the way the way it looks when you receive a call :) Overall its nice except the battery. Everyone seems to have different results.

It has touch responsiveness problems, some apps crash, but it's smooth in general.

It's my first iOS7 beta, seems to be running very smoothly.

A lot of graphical bugs though.

My messages app turned purple and orange and restarted my phone the other day, back to normal on restart.

Music app flickers black and white

Scrub in music app often misplaces

Landscape in music app produces flickers and glitches

Earpod buttons don't pause/play in music app

MyFitnessPal still doesn't like iOS7 :(

I only got one respring since day 1 it was released. Overall I enjoy it however there are some ui glitches like when you wanna move the curser in safari. Also most of my daily apps do not work on ios7 yet.

Like an absolute dream on my 4S (unlike Beta 3).

Haven't experienced a single crash or freeze yet.

The first few are not common I don't think. Have you tried restoring as new? Or resetting all settings? Sometimes this fixes certain issues.

safari is a bit buggy and the iMessage animated doesnt work for me, the message simply disappears for a split second before its sent. the video app has the status bar on the side as if its in landscape mode but its not ^^

I hope that Apple is collecting lots of good crash data from my iPhone5 on B4. The earlier betas were solid, but so far B4 has been a reminder to me that this is still a beta platform.....

You mean the animation where it appears from behind the keyboard? This works for me.

Mine was very smooth on the previous versions but since beta 4 my battery life is awful, charging it several times a day and for example i went to bed last night with around 45% battery and woke up it was dead!
have followed some of the steps on here to improve it but seems i need to do a fresh install.
just now it shut down with a dead battery while texting even though it was on charge!

Quoting my own post:) i decided to go back 6.1.4. iOS7 is good but most apps I want to use daily is not compatible yet so I couldn't stand it anymore. Once again I realized how stable ios6 is. I love Apple
(I am not a developer so I just wanted to see it.)

HORRIBLE for me!

1. If I play a game in landscape mode, Injustice for example, and go to the home screen, every app that shows in the background is in landscape mode. Even the the time and carrier is sideways.

2. Ive had the phone restart on me a few times now, just by answering a call, or sending a message.

3. Sometimes the status bar stays white. When I go into the iTunes Store, its sometimes white on the top, and you can barely notice anything.

And why is there no decline option on the lockscreen when someone is calling you?
