I heard that some number of packages were either included in the jailbreak or option installs to decrease the load on Saurik's servers. Are they being crushed under the weight of new users anyway?

Was fine for the first 5 minutes while everyone was still trying to get the jailbreak... now it's dying a slow death. Can't download any tweaks.

HTTP/1.1 502 Bad Gateway

Thanks for the update. I'll probably hold off on jailbreaking until the traffic dies down a bit, then.

Yep, not working here either. Kinda frustrating having a jailbreak now and can't install anything lol but understandable considering the amount of traffic they must be getting. Will keep trying.

Wait a day or two to download anything from Cydia. You'll save yourself some headaches. I did manage to download iBlacklist after about 20 tries.

I managed to get FolderEnhancer, NCSettings and FiveIconDock (wanted Springtomize, but by then Cydia had already taken a dump on paid tweaks/my account, even though I've purchased it previously) before it's now come to a halt. The front end is still active, but stuff can't be installed now and my account is MIA for the moment. I have a feeling it'll be a few days before everything is up and running well.

I managed to get BiteSMS, LockInfo, Five Icon Dock, and No News Is Good News before Cydia died... can't complain too much.

LockInfo 5 is amazing.

It's down now. I got to download f.lux and gpSPhone with Pokémon ROMs before it went down though. And those are the 2 major reasons I jailbreak so I'm pleased!

Bah. I didn't get a single app installed. lol At least the jailbreak went clean, so now I can just try periodically and see if I get lucky.

All red messages here (Bad Gateway's) while attempting to download IgotYa, Tetherme, Mewseek among others

Could it be due to the high traffic?

I saved all my deb's and installed them all at once without restarting the iPhone. Now I'm stuck on the Apple Logo, haha.
