I have 8.4 on my 6+ and have seen no issues with it so far. I have it on my iPad3 and I think I'm seeing some level of improvement. There have been no page reloads in Safari yet, and that is progress in my book. Javascript still runs like a pig, though. The WiFi seems a little laggy, too, but maybe that's just my impatience with IOS8 on my iPad3 at work. But overall, the stability seems better.

Anyone having issues with the TouchID on an iPhone 6 since installing the 8.4 update? It won't register a finger at all in settings or just moving the screen down. Also sometimes when turning off & on fixes it for a bit; did a full restore and backup to see if that cured with no luck.

Works great on my iPad Air with no issues...

That is definitely not normal. Back up your phone, restore your phone through iTunes, check if everything works okay. Then, put the backup back on and check again. If that screws everything up, you will have to reset and start as new. Something went horribly wrong with either your OS install or your backup.
I hadn't made a backup since I didn't expect 8.4 to be a risky upgrade. Latest iCloud backup was a couple of days old with 8.4 already. I tried to go back to 8.3 but couldn't find a recent backup. I reset the phone and installed 8.4 via iTunes, not the OTA (wifi) update like before. I then restored from the couple of day old iCloud backup of 8.4.

Amazingly, the phone is working fine. No heat issues. All apps are working. Went to bed at 100% power, woke up it was down to 95%.

Not sure what it was but it was really bad. I won't jump on updates quite to quickly ever again. I'm accustomed to flakiness with betas but had never experienced such problems with a generally available release. I don't know how a non-technical person would handle it, other than go to the Apple store and hope they'd fix it.

I voted no problems but now I noticed my battery life has decreased dramatically.
7 hours of standby,
4 hours of use (most of that is listening to music via spotify, screen off)

3% remaining. Oh no!

Apps won't download from App Store just changes back to "Get" every time
Battery terrible
Music sometimes sticks after searching for artists/music

So not too good

iOS 8.4 performs much better on my Air 2 now it's been released officially to the public. The Beta was aOK on my 6 Plus but I have encountered 'This Accessory may Not be Supported' when plugging in a FM Tuner via 30 Pin to Lightning.

I'm getting this as well with the Apple branded iPad camera connection kit with my old iPad 2. It worked fine on 8.3 now I'm getting the same as you the accessory not supported. Anyone else having this on the camera connection kit?

Apple Music is crashing occasionally, or the whole thing just hangs up and I have close it. My on screen keyboard is strange, cannot put a better description on it, it just isn't right.

More I use it the more I find it sucks (compared to 8.3).

So far the obvious, home sharing music intentionally removed which sucks for me since I used it a lot.

Alarm Clock doesn't always sound.

Rotation doesn't always work and sometimes it becomes unresponsive.

And overall just a lot of little glitchiness here and there. For example after using the hotspot feature then switching back to wifi on my iPhone sometimes when I plug it into my iMac it will switch to hotspot like a wired tethered connection even though my iMac isn't using it. ALL SORTS of strangeness with the phone app when it comes to conference calls and call waiting and such, not sure if thats carrier related or not.

Honesty I feel like I'm using Android Gingerbread again.

People that are saying they're having trouble with the Music app, do you have Apple Music enabled or no?

Man.... I was just about to step back down to 8.4 from 9.0 but this thread is kinda freaking me out...

Mine was a disaster after 8.4. It screwed my iPhone 6. I called Apple and they replaced my phone the next day at my local store. This phone has 8.3 so I'm happy now except for the annoying "1" on the settings app.

Browsing macrumors even on 3G feels like it (iPad 2) was turbocharged.

I'm a little confused by this? I have an iPad 2 so are you saying it's faster? If so I will upgrade to 8.4. The safari crashing in 8.3 is horrible. I'm hoping 8.4 is better. It seems like most people that are having problems did the OTA update.

Yes, the iPad 2 is pretty darn good on 3G; better than 8.3 and 7.1.2.

However as it seems around here ymmv.

I've had the same Sony car stereo since the iPhone 4 and not until iOS 8.4 has the Pause button on the stereo worked.
Sounds crazy but it's true.
It's got a USB port and bluetooth audio support and it's got buttons for FF/RW and Pause.
Over the years whenever I would connect my various phones via the USB port the FF/RW buttons would both work but the Pause never did.
When I played music via the Sony's bluetooth the pause would work but the FF/RW buttons wouldn't.
Finally with iOS 8.4 all three buttons work when I connect via USB.

No problems at all on my 5S. I'm still holding off on moving my Air 2 to 8.4 since I've been reading that the newer processors seem to have a lag problem with it for some strange reason.

My only concern is not being prompted for either iCloud password or fingerprint I.D. on either iPhone 6 or iPad Air 2 on iOS 8.4. Anyone else?

No issues on my Air 2 in 8.4.

My iPad Mini 2 is virtually useless now after updating to 8.4. It wont accept my wifi password.

Is it just me or are others having issues with "Cannot Connect to App Store" messages on device. Seems to be something that comes and goes during the day yet I still seem to be able to use other internet requiring apps on my device just fine.
