german for me. So maybe there is an algorithm depending on system language. Scribble was introduced as an "english and chinese" feature... hopefully the next beta will fix this, so other languages can use this, aswell.

Scribble would be very handy when you are in bar, train, doctors, dentist, bus, nightclub to reply to someone so you don't have to use Siri

I think personally scribble will take over siri in time for just texting when people get faster at using it when the learning curve is over. The scribble feature going to make the watch more user friendly so you can answer with ease. For a couple of words that you don't have a default reply to it will be perfect

I just hope that the scribble feature is going to come to twitter,Facebook messenger, whatapp, which again would come in very handy for social media. The Facebook messenger app would benefit a lot from this feature to save doing voice clips when you are in area when you need to be more personal

Yeah.. I don't see a reason why it would be dependent on language, only on alphabet.. Maybe for those languages that use special characters it could cause a problem (but this isn't the case in Dutch).

This feature is up there for my favourite feature added. I almost never reply lately because the automatic answers are either wrong/too robotic, or the ones I preset might not have enough info. Also don't use Siri for replies often because half the time it's too loud, or it'll show up properly as I'm talking, then right as it sends, it changes some words to something else.

So much this. I'm almost always in a scenario where it would be too loud/awkward to reply via Siri. But the few times I do use Siri to reply, she always perfectly understands my sentence, and then once I hit Send, she scrambles the words so that I'm speaking gibberish. It's incredibly frustrating and I have no clue why this is still happening, and ONLY on the Watch and not iPhone.

Maybe it uses some part of predictive typing, and a particular language base is used to figure out which letter would come next.

Gone for me as well (German). When I try to change the language to English, the feature appears only in several chats (texted me from my iPad, only Siri dictation. Texted me from my girlfriends phone, ios9, it's available.) I hope it's not limited to English and Chinese... would make no sense.

Scribble works amazingly with 100% accuracy. I decided to skip beta 1 and bite the bullet with beta 2 since there was a full 3 weeks in between to work out some initial bugs. There is no lag whatsoever. The Watch feels like a brand new device. So frickin happy.
