I have the White and find it pretty comfortable-- though I would personally prefer a metal band, I think, as that's what I'm used to. It's also impressively stain-resistant; I spilled curry powder on it when making dinner the other night, and fully expected a disaster as that stuff will stain nearly anything. It brushed off with no trace whatsoever, which really impressed me!

Word of warning: don't wear it too tight. I did, and got a rash from it. Once I started wearing it on the next hole all problems went away, though. I think water was getting underneath it when I was washing my hands, and the band was so tight it could not quickly evaporate? Either way, wearing it one hole looser has made an impact on the condition of my skin without any noticeable effect on HR monitoring or unwanted locking, so don't be worried about having it move around a little.

I am probably in the minority, but I had to return the sports band. I bought the 42mm SS with a black leather loop. I purchased a black sports band to wear for outdoor activities and for the summer heat here in North Carolina. After wearing the sports band for a week to test it out, for me it was very uncomfortable. I have hairy arms and wrist. The band no matter the tightness or looseness, kept rubbing my wrist in the wrong way and made it very uncomfortable. I have had problems with steel and rubber watch bands in the past, but I thought I would give the sports band a try. It actually was hurting my wrist. I ended up returning it and will live with the leather loop. I might buy a 3rd party leather band, on the cheap, to deal with the weather and the outdoor activities. So when that leather gets ruined, it will be an easy replace and reuse the lug. If you don't have hairy arms or the band spaces fits you right, not too tight or loose, the band might be ok for you. The only way to know is to try it out. You could always buy a leather or metal band, either from Apple or 3rd party, separately for the Sport Watch.

I switch back and forth between my green and white Sport bands, wear my watch every day, and I find them super comfortable.

I bought my 42mm SS with a Milanese loop but got a BSB about a week ago and it feels great. Swapping back to Milanese for more formal occasions.

The sport band as a daily driver has been really nice. Yes, it get signs of wear after just a few days, but it has held up well for someone who hyper-persperates. I was originally going to get a new band soon after receiving the Watch, but so far I haven't found a reason to be spending more money on other bands. I guess as time goes on and I get eventually bored of the same band, I'll change to a loop or link bracelet.

It's great, except that it does not breathe at all so it causes your wrist to sweat. I noticed a lot more gunk under my SS watch (where the LEDs are) using the sport band. Never had that problem with the Milanese.

I have the white sport band, I have worn it every day since April 26. Once it got dirty from gardening and I washed it in Dawn and water. Came out spotless. Then I got a high staining ink on it. I thought that was The End but I tried scrubbing it with a Mr. Clean White Eraser and it looked like new. I think it is meant not to absorb staining material. It looks great.
Actually those Mr. Clean erasers are abrasive so it just removed the top layer of your band.

Dig the White Sport for just lounging around the house. I'll likely pick up another Sport color for the gym unless I find a band as comfortable for the house. Would rather save the Milanese for going out if I buy a $100+ band.

I got the black sport band SS originally. I was not fond of it. I found it uncomfortable and had to wear it too tight. Which made it sweaty. But I soldiered on because it was perfect for the yard and housework I do. It's durable and easily rinsed off. I never use soap because that would leave a residue that would be irritating.

The exercise rings encouraged me to be active and I lost weight quickly so now it fits perfectly. Somehow I have not just grown used to the sport band but grown appreciative of it and now have every color except the lime green, which I will get eventually. Swapping colored bands adds some fun to owning the Apple Watch.

I had a 42mm SS classic buckle watch but I returned it back for a number of reasons, the main being the sapphire screen didn't work as it should and therefore I'm debating whether to get a sport model. How is the sport band to wear every day, is it comfy or does it get irritating and rub?

Any answers would be appreciated,
Thanks.

My band is holding up well. It's comfortable and seems durable.

I love mine

Going on 3 weeks now.

It does attract grease fairly easily, but all screens/rubber/glass do so whatever

Very comfortable
