Battery life on my S0 after update to watch os 4 is terrible, i barely make it to the evening. when i get the notification with 10 percent remaining, i used to have 30% battery on watch os 3.

I've been running it for a week and my watch is definitely a bit slower in some apps. For instance the activity app can be very choppy and laggy if I'm leaving it un-opened for half a day or so. Also the pumping/pulsing stand counter in the activity app stopped working completely, so annoying.

Battery was terrible the first few days, it's a bit more stable now but still not as good as watchOS 3.

The update didn't bring anything positive to my watch so if there was an (easy) way to downgrade I probably would.

For the first 2 days my battery was draining much faster - hitting power reserve mode before bed after a workout. Now battery life is back to where it was in OS 3, and if anything I think performance is better. The new dock using the Digital Crown feels much faster to me, and there are lots of small improvements I like, such as automatically showing the now playing screen if I start music from my phone. I was expecting to upgrade the watch this year but think I will stick with S0 for another 12 months.

Right now my Apple Watch Series 0 from 2015 is horrible slow on WatchOS4. Any ideas what to do? I am thinking about completely resetting the watch.

You can Re-pair the Apple with the iPhone or, set the Apple Watch Up as a new device if you reset the device entirely. Also, some third party applications can be problematic as well if you have any.

Just did that - re-paired. I can report tomorrow if that was of any help. I didn’t install any apps nor did I turn on Siri or other stuff. I hope it gets better.
