Mine is pretty good but noticed I have to small chips in the side where about ten times I've accidentally hit a table or surface. Luckily I learned from the old IPad not to place it down or the back would get all surface scaratches.

Anybody else having trouble keeping it good?

no screen protector ... just a case that doubles as a stand ... it looks brand new :D had it since day one and no scratches at all

Bought my iPad 1 used and it came with a screen protector on it plus a neoprene sleeve. Screen was perfect but the back had 2 tiny knicks and a tiny indent. No worries.

Aluminum just doesn't sound right.

In French it's aluminium, in B English it's aluminium so surely aluminium is the correct way. ;)

No case or screen protector and I use it as a frisbee with my dog...not a scratch on it. Looks like I just pulled it outta the box.

Full body (back/front) invisible shield and Yoobao Executive leather case.

It probably doesnt sound right because you are BRITISH and it is spoken as ALUMINIUM...In America where it is spoken Aluminum it sounds right.

Leather Smart Cover on the front, GelaSkin on the back, Tom Bihn bag to carry it around. I've had it since March 25th. It's been on ten flights. At least 100 kids and dozens of adults have used it. Screen is still flawless. There is a bit of wear on the Smart Cover. Otherwise, it is still in new condition.
