That only works with Tyrannosaurus Rex. Velociraptors have very keen vision. That's one of the only reasons why they were excellent predators - that and their razor sharp talons and teeth. You'd have a better chance at surviving if you jumped into a tree and climbed to the top.

I know, I'm a nerd.

Also their abnormal hight in a certain movie would give them an edge.

Take the top bunk. Gives you some extra seconds compared to say standing
