How long did it take to get your iPhone 4

I ordered a 32gb iPhone 4 on Friday July 23rd and it says it will be shipped on August 13th and delivers August 18th. Is there a chance it will ship early if so how early?

I ordered mine at an AT&T store yesterday 24th and was told 5-7 days.

I went by the AT&T store and they told me 7-10 days I felt like they were lying to me trying to get me to buy it from them, I don't see how they can get it faster than apple.
 
Walked into an Orange store on Tuesday 20th July (no prior reservation or pre-order), ordered and paid for the Orange contract and the iPhone, walked out of the store 25 minutes later with a 32GB iPhone 4. Boom.

I'd certainly hope you didn't need to reserve a month old product.


For me, about 45 minutes at an O2 store on 4th July - for a 32GB. Day after getting back from holiday - just noticed one in the store in town so bought one (having forgotten about the release).

I don't understand why so many people ordered. Surely quicker to just go buy from ATT/Apple, or from your network store in the UK?
 
Waited at the Apple Store in Brea Mall, California for 15 minutes on July 24, 2010. They told me that they started walkins yesterday ever since opening day. So passed by and got the wife one!
 
Preordered mine through Apple on June 15th, received on June 23rd just like many others here.
 
signed up for the priority list on 7/3 and finally got it 7/21. Took so long! you guys who are doing walk ins now don't know the pain of waiting!

wish they had cases there tho...really need to be careful with the glass on both sides.
 
I bought mine on the 23rd too. Fed up with waiting for the white one. I was told 7-14 working days. I just called AT&T yesterday to discuss a different matter and was told,"We will see you next week." "Pish, posh, my good man, I won't get that phone for weeks," asserted moi. "We have been seeing them come in in a working week, so I think we are going to be discussing your phone face-to-face sometime next week," quoth the AT&T man.

I am not betting the farm on it, but it might happen. If it doesn't I am not going to start whining about it, but I suspect that it will.
 
Took me about 15 mins :)

Walked into my local O2 shop on 18/07/10 and opened a second contract, had the phone in hand rather quickly. Wife loves her 'new' 3GS and the 4 suites me well.

Yeah I know about the pain of waiting Iv'e been waiting on the white one and gave in Friday. I hope it comes early my iPhone 3g is getting worse everyday the battery dies too fast and part of the screen is sometimes unresponsive.
 
I ordered a 32GB from AT&T Premier on Friday after giving up on waiting for white. The Premier website says 7-14 days, and that seems about right considering what I've seen on the order status thread.
 
10 minutes. Best Buy preorder. Went in at 5PM launch day and walked out 10 minutes later with a 32gb Iphone 4
 
Ordered online from ATT on July 11. Got it on July 24th with free overnight shipping. 8 Business days.
 
I'm starting to think I made a mistake:mad:, I know none of my local stores have them I wonder why it would take so much longer for apple to ship it.
 
Walked into my local Apple store June 25th (day after release) walked out in 10 minutes with 2 iPhone 4's.:D
 
called an apple store yesterday and was told they were out of stock and to go order on apple.com to get it in 3 weeks. i asked when they were getting another shipment in and was told 3 weeks. i asked if there was a list i could be put on and she reluctantly added me to the list. i got an email today saying my iphone is in.
 
Got up at 4 am on June 15 to pre-order and received it June 23rd.

Yeah it was fun.
 
Ordered July 6th, said it would be shipped by the 27th, but shipped on the 23rd and I'm praying it will be here tomorrow (26th) with my 2-3 day shipping. Seems most people's are shipping before the expected date.

I also got my priority list e-mail that said I could come pick up my phone at the store on the 23rd, but my online order had already shipped so I couldn't cancel it to go grab one at the local store... Twas a but of a bummer.
