How long did it take to get your iPhone 4

Went into Best Buy as a new AT&T customer, I happily walked out with a new iPhone 4 in under 15 minutes. Funny enough, there was a long line at the Apple store just down the block. 
Decided that I wanted one last Monday. Bought one the next day (Tuesday) at Best Buy. Sold my 3GS on Wednesday for $400.
Win win win.

i ordered mine on 7/25 and it said it'd be 7-14 business days. but it also said there was no guarantee that it would ship in that time.

called around and the apple stores were out as well as walmart BUT best buy had them. 16 & 32 so she had success within an hour....

UK store says shipping in 3 weeks....
Is there a chance that they'll get it to me any quicker, and is that just a statement that they're playing safe with? i.e. Are they just saying that because they're not too sure, but it's within three weeks?

After stock from near enough every o2 shop in London was just being snapped up by people queuing I rang o2 (My network provider).
After listening to the 'we have no iPhones in stock' message i asked if they had some and the answer was yes.I upgraded over the phone and i had the handset the next day, turnaround was less then 24 hours

I called every Apple store and ATT store in the area, and they all told me there was a 1-2 week waiting list.
I put my name on the list at the nearest Apple store, and I got my email less than 12 hours later that my iPhone was ready at the store!
They said I was lucky to get mine so quickly, but also I got the one with the least demand, which is 32 GB. I was surprised to learn that more people don't want the 32 GB model.
I would have been willing to pay an extra $200 for a 64 GB model!

I ordered mine from the Apple UK site on the 11th July and got the email today saying it had shipped.
It was originally scheduled to ship on the 2nd August.
Bought on 7/23 it shipped today 7/27, scheduled to get it on 7/29. That includes a weekend in there, too. Pretty good.
