Other How long do UPS usually take to deliver once theyre 'Out for delivery'?

I got my tracking number early this morning and the status is as follows;

MANCHESTER, GB 22/07/2010 6:45 OUT FOR DELIVERY

MANCHESTER, GB 22/07/2010 5:15 ARRIVAL SCAN

TAMWORTH, GB 22/07/2010 3:06 DEPARTURE SCAN

TAMWORTH, GB 22/07/2010 1:11 ORIGIN SCAN


Does this mean it will come today?

yup you'll receive today.

mine is usually out for delivery from south san francisco in the mornin around 9am/10am and i get it in my city by 4pm
 
Yeah it will be there today. It really depends on where you live for what time of day it will actually arrive. My packages usually get here around 5pm.

Out for Delivery means it is on the truck.

Here in the states, if they miss a delivery (for example, because you're at work), then you can sometimes call up customer service and have them drop it off at a UPS store before the driver returns to the depot.

They used to let you drive to the depot to pick up your stuff (a few years ago), but they seem to have changed their policy.

As other users said, it means it's out for delivery!

It varies depending on location, but UPS doesn't deliver until around 4:00-4:30 here.

This is incorrect. Once it's listed as Out for Delivery it takes 4H:37M:42S before you are signing for it. :D If it takes even one second more the UPS driver is fired that evening.:eek:

Just checked my tracking information through UPS:

DALLAS/FT. WORTH A/P, TX, US 07/22/2010 8:14 A.M. OUT FOR DELIVERY

Only problem is shipped to address is Brooklyn NY. If Out for Delivery means it is on the truck, then hopefully it's on a truck to the airport...
 
Actual delivery time usually depends on how far you are located from the UPS warehouse. Of course the drivers use certain routes on their deliveries and if you are out of the way then you might be one of the last places the driver hits.

So my package says that it is currently in route to its destination does this mean it will be delivered today??

Ok I tracked my package yesterday and it said it was on its way to its destination so I figured it would arrive today but when I tracked it this morning it still shows that it's on its way to its destination. Why would it say the same thing for 2 days it was originally shipped on the 7th and today is the 13th. Any thoughts on what to do

What does it say as far as the scheduled delivery date?

Any thoughts on what to do? Yeah..wait for it to get delivered.

The finest granularity you'll get is that it will be delivered on the day, no time, other then a no later then perhaps
 
Depends upon where it is coming from and where it is going. A lot of UPS stuff now actually gets delivered by the USPS which adds a couple of days at least.
