Depends upon where it is coming from and where it is going. A lot of UPS stuff now actually gets delivered by the USPS which adds a couple of days at least.
And if you track the order,it clearly states that USPS is final carrier. If the USPA has it the previous day,I have always had it the following day.

I leave for work at 5PM Tuesday through Saturday. I can always guarantee that my UPS deliveries will be delivered 5-15 minutes after I leave my house.

If I order something from Apple, I pay for next day before noon or try to order on a Friday and overnight so I can either get it Saturday if they offer before noon or Monday.

A few years ago, I ordered a smart cover for my Retina Mini a week before Christmas. I didn't get it till 9:30PM that night. I was almost ready to give up.

This is incorrect. Once it's listed as Out for Delivery it takes 4H:37M:42S before you are signing for it. :D If it takes even one second more the UPS driver is fired that evening.
Well I guess my guy will be fired then it's been over 6 hours since it first said out for delivery.

My guess is this is a two year old thread and delivery was made.
Its actually a 7 year old thread.. 2010 lol

I can't believe someone asked this question in the first place. No one can answer it except say "sometime during the same day". I have gotten a package at 10AM and have gotten on at 9PM. So literally anytime during the day.

My neighborhood is on the end of a UPS route and we don't get deliveries until about 7PM to 8PM.

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. I'm either first in the morning, or the last at night, but its usually the latter. I only get it early if someone nearby has an expedited package.

Just checked my tracking information through UPS:

DALLAS/FT. WORTH A/P, TX, US 07/22/2010 8:14 A.M. OUT FOR DELIVERY

Only problem is shipped to address is Brooklyn NY. If Out for Delivery means it is on the truck, then hopefully it's on a truck to the airport...
[doublepost=1515092540][/doublepost]Is this why ups drivers are so fast when they put stuff at your door

There is no across-the-board specific time that UPS delivers packages to a home/business, unless of course, you've paid tons of money for a special deliver service. UPS will deliver to your location based on where you are on their route for your specific area. Could be morning, could be afternoon, could be at night before 8 p.m. I get packages all the time from UPS and they always show up around 730 p.m. I asked the driver once why I always get my packages so late at night and he said, it's because your house/neighborhood is last on my route for this area. With that being said, there are also folks on my UPS driver's route that get their packages early in the morning, because that's where his route begins. So when folks tell you, oh, it will be there like at 430 or so. Ding ding ding. Not always true. Just depends on where you are on his daily route for your area.

Why are you bumping an old thread? And why are you posting this on a Mac forum when you're asking questions about a shipment of clothing??

Yeaaaaaaaah, they are not fired if it takes one second more. I've done deliveries for UPS and they do not fire you for something that stupid lol. ****.

If it's something I'm really wanting it seems like I'll be the last house on their route, lol
Same. Or if I'm at work it is delivered to home promptly, but if I took off for some reason, then it takes as long as possible. I remember when I ordered an iPhone back when they were more popular, and it was out for delivery all day, and then at like 9:30p it changed to some weird status I don't remember and went back to the hub :( Got delivered early the next day at least.
