Hi folks, just wondering how long it takes for 1 of your Mac's to connect to another Mac on the same network?
I have had a Mac mini for many years, and have recently changed my 2015 MBP to the base M1 MBA, but one thing I do not remember taking so long to do in the past, was connect to the Mac mini...as follows:
click finder to get this:
Then click on Malcky's Mac Mini.....does this:
Takes about 10 seconds to then say:
I really don't recall it doing that with my 2015 MBP to connect to the same Mac Mini......so have I missed something that will speed up that part? For comparison, when I press the WDMyCloudEX4100....that connect instantly and can view the folders without any delay.
