Sure. Drive the car. But don't leave the engine running when you're parking it. Not plugging in your MacBook when you are near a charger is stupid.

Except that you use up one of your thousand or so battery charges every day. Would be much better if you kept the charger at work and left the MBA plugged in while you are working.
You thinking your ideas are the only smart ones is stupid. And, frankly, hilariously sad..
I, for one, couldn't care less what you think about how I use MY computer. Get over yourself.
I love being able to use my Air, near or away from it's charging cable, with no strings attached. I had a windows laptop that I kept plugged in almost exclusively for 2 1/2 years that is lucky to pull an hour and a half on battery power. I hated it. The Air can be left unplugged for DAYS, or 12+ hours if for some reason I'm glued to it for the day. It's like going from having your learner's permit and having to ask to take your parents' car out and finally having your license and own car and being able to go somewhere whenever you please.
I'm happy to plug it in around 15-20%..I like to get it charged before the battery icon turns red, but if I wanted something I needed to keep tethered to the wall I would have gotten another stupid battery killing monster of a Windows laptop or maybe last years rMBP.
You do you, but I'll enjoy the freedom this 12+ hours of battery life allows me. K? Thanks.
