I wonder why they didn't do it in black? you would figure that would have been a big seller. Hopefully next year, because if they do one next year like this year it will have the 5s specs.

This is close to what I expected, almost half the people I'm asking in person are saying they like the C models look and feel, especially once they hold the 2 phones at the same time.
It's many fold, some are just tired of the old style, some like the rounded feel better, and some want the new colors.

Me personally I never like the feel of the 5 or how fast it got beat up. My favorite iPhone for "feel" was 3gs, it just feels better to hold, and I never feared dropping it, or putting it in my pocket, and the C is just like that, but even better.
Nah. I like my 5s as aluminum. However I know it is less durable than the 5c. But that is why I have AC+.
I beat the crap out of my 5 and it showed, but AC+ saved me in the end.
Many might be surprised by just how many 5s buyers would have rather had the c body and colors, maybe they haven't held the 5c.

I might have gotten the green 5c if it came with a 64 GB option. But there was no way I was going back to 32 GB. And I do love the fingerprint sensor... It's pure genius.
some people like the colors...
but some people also want a finger print scanner, faster processor, and nicer camera.

you obviously haven't felt the 5C in your hand or played with it at all to be coming up with this prejudicial notion that "plastic is crap."
This isn't some ordinary free android phone. Wasn't the iPhone 3G/3GS plastic? nobody complained about that, and that felt cheap.
I think your right, next years 6c will inherit the current 5s specs. But I bet the new iPhone 6 will have some amazing new features which will push me to the new designed 6. If they go with a larger screen I may have to go with the new 6c next year and just forget the cool new features.
I would also bet the next iPhone will have more rounded sides, and maybe they will skip the aluminum altogether since so many people are digging the the Plastic ones, or some new material which would be cool.
