I just returned home from a week in Atlanta. While I was there, I made sure to visit the Apple Store at Lenox Mall. I've realized that every time I'm in a city with an Apple Store, I make sure to stop in. And since I live in an area that has 3 Apple Stores within a 45 minute drive, it turns out I've been to six different stores in the past year:

NYC (Soho)
Las Vegas
Atlanta
Palo Alto, CA
Emeryville, CA
Walnut Creek, CA

So, to start another thread that you'd be embarrassed to discuss with your 'real world' friends... how many Apple Stores have you been to?

(Apologies in advance to those of you outside of the US.)

I've been to all the Bay Area Apple stores except the newest one in Burlingame. So that would be

Santa Clara
Palo Alto
Emeryville
Walnut Creek

Palisades - West Nyack NY
Woodcliff Lakes - Northern NJ
Westfarms - Farmington CT
Cross Gates - Albany NY
Westchester - Westchester NY

Surprisingly, not the SoHo store...

Cherry Creek - CO
Aspen Grove - CO
Knox St - TX (was there for the opening of this one. "free t-shirt? woohoo!" :))
Willow Bend - TX

More as I find 'em.

Glendale and Pasadena--and I saw where the one in Union Square (San Francisco) is supposed to open. I may eventually see the other 5 that are within 45 minutes or so of here. Of the 7 area stores, 4 are within 20 minutes. I think LA is set for Apple Stores.

Three

I've been to three..Mall of America (Bloomington, MN), Mayfair Mall (Wauwatosa, WI - by Milwaukee), and the 2 story North Michigan Avenue store in Chicago. (does that count for 2 then? ;) ) Got the hookup at the last one...free shirt and free iSight. :D

3 so far

Novi, MI
Troy, MI
Bellevue Square, WA

Hoping to make it up for the University Village Opening on 9/26, and hopefully I'll be back for the opening for the Tigard (Portland) Store.

I'll be there right next to you. Unfortunately their opening a second one in the Seattle area before they even think about one in Portland.

I've been to Las Vegas, Cupertino to the company store and the one near by at the Valley Fair Mall.

I'll be going to the one in Seattle in the next few months I guess.

only cupertino

but i have been to many independent apple stores throughout california

computerware...capitola and san jose area
computerworks...seaside
sears and circuit city...salinas/capitola and sand city respectively, when they were dealers
vortechs...marina
elite computers...cupertino
fry's electronics...campbell
cal poly state university bookstore...san luis obispo
some major independent apple store in san fernando valley
sonoma state university bookstore...rhonert park *where i first saw the imac that rekindled my interest in apple

I must correct my previous statement, I've been to four. The fourth being in Orlando, FL, in a weird mall with a Macy*s on one end and a Bloomingdales on the other. They are the same store, isn't the some law against Monoplistic Competition?

Ditto for me... <sob> Although I might make a special trip to Houston just to go to one. ;) :D

I visited the following stores on opening day and collected the t-shirts.
I was living in NY then, since then I moved to Pittsburgh where there is no apple store.
But there are plenty of Mac users out here in pittsburgh and I see them when I go to my local starbucks.
And ofcourse, there is CMU here.

Edison, NJ - Menlo Park
Woodcliff Lake, NJ - Tice’s Corner
West Nyack, NY - Palisades
White Plains,NY - The Westchester

I may be visiting Houston next month, I will check out Houston Galleria. Here is an interesting article from Maccentral:

"In Sunday's Houston Chronicle, an insert called Ultimate Houston featured the coolest, the "ultimate," attractions in the Texas city. The Apple Store was dubbed the ultimate cool store.

"Not coolest computer store or electronics store, but the coolest store of them all," Dave Trevas of Houston told MacCentral.
