as a questýon to all who visited to different Apple Stores than I did..

Walden Galleria was somewhat close to where I lived, so I had lots of chances to visit there and when I moved to Boston, and saw the CambridgeSide Galleria A.S. I recognized that all items and products where settled in the same place and the same order like Walden Galleria, which made me travel like at home at my first visit, but on the other hand, NYC SoHo is a all the way different designed one.. the question is, are most of the Apple Stores look alike like Walden and Cambridge, or they were just samely designed because they were Galleria Stores, or is SoHo just and exception???

the big ones look a lot similar. so n michigan ave is very clsoe to soho as design insider. and medium sized are the same, woodfield and columbus, small ones too.. i think it'd be great if one of them had something really special. ;)

But are there no Apple resellers in your country with somekind of showroom somewhere?
I remember the small discussion we had about the 20" TFT. Any luck yet?

yo yo... actually I ordered the 23 cinema...the shipping day...this friday..:D

... I guess i'm a space sucker...:D

btw...there are some minor issues on 20 inch running os 9...so...no, thanks...and I've seen 23 before, and never looked back since I saw this beauty. On the subject..we don't have ANY showrooms so yeah, this sucks. But than again there is another reason why ME an apple fan...the pictures of products on apple's website are nothing compare to seeing them in person. The point is, even if you don't *see* them you wont be dissapointed. And that's a fact.

p.s. you lucky bastards...:D

I've been two official Apple Stores. The one I've been to the most is the one in the mall at home where I work (The Mall at Wellington Green). The other being the Apple Store in the Boca mall. Sometime in the next year or so I might do a family trip for Christmas up north and at some point go to the Mall of America, so hopefully I can see what that Apple Store looks like, too. They are pretty awesome stores, definitely a nice experience to just walk into one and look around. The people are helpful, they have loads of stuff out for you to try out, lots of Mac stuff, and every computer is connected to the internet and most have digital cameras, video cameras, printers, turn tables, and various other accessories all connected so you can use the computers with the various hardware you may consider using at some point to see how it all works. It's a definite plus to be able to take a test drive and see just how using a digital camera with iPhoto works or playing with the accessories, or even watching a movie on a G5 with a 23" display and a 5.1 speaker setup.

hey, me too.
damn, here i was all set to say i have only been to one, but i was the only one on the forum who'd been to it :(

oh well...

I have been to seven stores:
Las Vegas
Los Angeles
Glendale
Newport beach
Northridge
Schaumberg
Pasadena

I also been to four independent stores in Tokyo:
Two in Shinjuku
Shibuya
Akiba

West County Center, St. Louis, MO.

The mall itself only opened, I think, less than a year ago and Apple is one of the original tenants.

It's a nice mall but it hasn't really taken off in popularity. I went there last Friday to pick up a pbook g4. The mall was not crowded at all, it seemed more like a monday night than a friday. But the Apple Store was quite busy. It took forever to get checked out. Not complaining, there was just a lot going on there.

I think Apple's retail strategy is being executed perfectly. It's really raised Apple's visibility. A lot of people who don't like to buy online and wouldn't seek out an Apple reseller are checking out Macs in these stores. Or at least that was my impression from looking over the clientele.

Glendale, CA
The Grove (Los Angeles), CA
Pasadena, CA
Santa Monica, CA
Roosevelt Field, NY

I didn't have time to swing by SoHo while I was in NY :(. Next time...

Don't mind me I'm just going to go off in my corner and cry.:( Bastards.:p

Ya but what'll really frost your biscuits is that they are within a 10-20 minute drive from one another. Go figure. Other states don’t even have an Apple store and yet ...... :-\

I've only been to one Apple Store and that was in Honolulu, in the Ala Moana mall. My family and I went on vacation to Hawaii and we were staying in Waikiki and i walked 2 miles just to go see this store. Since where I live, in San Antonio, the closest ones are in H-town and Dallas. So you know we decided to fly 8 hours to go to an Apple store :-D . Come to think of it my Powerbook would have been nice to take on that long flight.

I've only ever been to two...One in Durham and one in Chicago (Schaumburg).

I guess there's not really a big difference from apple store to apple store, is there?

Westchester
Soho
Palisades
store.apple.com :D

OK, so everyone here has gone to more than one store - but how many of you have made a purchase in each one you've visited??

I've been to 6 Apple Stores so far:

Fashion Island (Newport Beach, was just there tonight)
South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa)
The Grove (Los Angeles)
Glendale
Fashion Show (Vegas)
Cherry Creek

The iBook has only been to the last two. My wife and I were joking about how we should visit all the Apple Stores on our recent road trip. But there are none in Salt Lake City (where we were at the time of the idea) and we didn't get a chance to swing by Littleton during our jaunt through Colorado. Besides, we ought to focus on getting all the ones near home first -- Northridge, Pasadena, and Santa Monica are all within an hour's drive, and 2 in San Diego (counting the one opening this month) are within 2 hours.

Guess we just don't get out enough, huh? :p

(Apologies in advance to those of you outside of the US.)

None. I get excited just visiting the Apple Korea online store. (It just opened this year.)

By the way, why don't they have Apple Stores in Canada? I can't believe Toronto and Vancouver are excluded.
