I currently have 4 smartphone phones in my "rotation".

I have both Tmobile and ATT service.

So on any one day, I will carry my unlocked BB Bold 9700 (usually have my Tmobile SIM in this one) or my unlocked Samsung Vibrant (aka Galaxy S) that I picked up a couple of weeks ago.

On my ATT line, I usually carry either my iPhone 4 or my unlocked Nokia E71.

Gotta love GSM phones cause of the ability to switch SIMs on the fly. Can't wait until 2015 when Verizon ditches CDMA all together and goes strictly with LTE/GSM standard. Verizon is going to be using a CDMA voice/LTE hybrid 4G phone probably for the next 3-5 years.

There's a huge advantage to carry two smartphones with you at any on time: Never have to worry about battery life. If my iPhone 4's battery goes out, I automatically have a backup smartphone to go to.

Before everyone thinks I am wasting money by going with Tmob and ATT by paying 2 smartphone data plan. My brother opened up the Tmobile line for me on his account. And I in return opened up the ATT line for him on my account. So it costs about an extra $35 extra for the extra smartphone line with data (we both have unlimited family texting).

I write off my ATT cell phone bill cause I own my own business.

My wife thinks I am crazy and she forbids me to get a third cell phone. I am dying to get my hands on the HTC Evo with Sprint (I will just open up another line with my Mom since she has Sprint). But my wife has threaten to get another dog if I get a third cell phone line.

I understand a phone from work and a personal, but who really needs two personal phones or more?

Ridiculous

Back around XMas when the Palm Pre was on sale for less than $100, I almost bought it on Amazon.

I have a Sprint broadband card that is eligible for an upgrade and I was also thinking of using it for an Evo but that would be four phones though it would be fun.

2 blackberries from work
iphone 4 for her
3gs for me
and the 3g i gave to our almost 3 year old son

jailbroke my 3gs and the 3g and put the dora the explorer theme on for him.

Maybe ridiculous, but I gotta say after having the Droid X it is pretty damn sweet being able to grab one or the other for a little variety.

There are a lot of pros using a 4.3" Android phone just as there are a ton of pros using a 3.5 iOS phone.

For an extra 40 bucks a month, the option is nice. Especially considering I love gadgets and look at this more as something I enjoy using. I mean if I bought a 3G iPad I would be paying 15+ a month and that's not even a phone.

Necessary? No.

I was thinking of returning the Droid X, but after using it I'm not sure that's an option.

I should also add I don't have a house phone and get much better Verizon reception in my house, so in essence it is kind of like a house phone as well. Or at least that's how I justify it.

:D

haha Awesome

I have a 3.5 year old daughter. She loves my iPhone and knows how to operate it. She likes watching YouTube vids and such, plus she likes to make the calls to nanas house. (grandma)
