Only apple I own is iPhone/pad, wife has an air though.
Everybody does *sigh*...this new iPhone better be competition b/c as it is right now, there's no contest.

No contest? Compared to what? Been messing around with an S3 for a few days now and it's ok, the screen is nice but it's no iPhone. "No contest" is a subjective statement that will differ with each person. I personally like the iPhone better in most ways so for me there is no contest when it comes to iPhone vs other phones I've tried. iPhone wins hands down. (for me) YMMV

My reasoning for not having an iPhone is the plan(s) they're tied to. Thly. But it boils down to this - the plans the phone's tied to are too expensive es.

+1 Have a 3rd gen iPod and 2010 MBA, but am a Nokia fanboy, currently using an N9/Meego on T-mobile prepaid, much cheaper than ATT.

Mac user for a decade with iPods and an iPad but no iPhone. I use a flip phone that's sole purpose in life is to send and receive calls. I've never been able to justify the expense of a smartphone and since I don't require one for work, I'll happily save the money while I can.

We now have a house full of Apples because of the iPhone.
It was the Gateway device.

I have a couple of Macs and Apple TV. I had the iPhone, the 3GS and the 4S. Then I got the Galaxy S2 and now the S3. I doubt I'll go back - especially looking at Apple's mediocre attempts to update the iPhone.

I'll be looking very seriously at the Microsoft Surface tablet (got rid of my iPad after about 6 months) but can't imagine ever going back to Windows (although Metro does look like they're at least trying to look at the desktop with new eyes whereas Mountain Lion is a bit pathetic).

I've also recently ditched iWork in favour of MS Office. I gave iWork about 5yrs but it's clearly just a hobby for Apple now.

If I had an Android phone instead of an iPhone, I would only be hanging out in an iPhone forum if I regretted my Android purchase and was thinking to get an iPhone next time around. (or maybe if I were an anti-Apple troll :p)

My household switched to Macs in 1984 and went for iOS devices as well. Big fan of Apple products. Doesn't mean I don't rake them over the coals when they have it coming though... like when can I finally read my iBookstore books on my Mac laptops, Apple?!?!?! :(

I have an appleTV, Mac, Airport Express, and iphone. I tred to go android for a brief period, but the iphone is a crucial piece to have everything synced. Plus, once you buy into the app store it is hard to leave that behind.

It all started with a PowerMac G4 for me I now have two iMac's and an tv an old iPod nano that I got for free with one of the iMacs and a iMac and MacBook Pro for work but no iPhone. I may change that with the new iPhone but I may opt for an Android phone I am still not sure.

I have a MacBook Pro, Apple TV, iPad 2, a second gen iPod Touch, a 3gs that I don't use and 4 iPods and I use an Android phone.

I am the opposite, I only have iOS devices.

Mac OS just can't match up to Windows. Heck I even have a Windows XP computer to complement a Windows 7 computer.

Lol, I feel just the opposite. For me, Mac is much better than Windows, but iOS is really starting to suck lately in comparison to Android.

We have/have had 2 iBooks, 2 MacBook Pro's, 3-4 iPods, an iMac, a Time Capsule, and an iPad...

but no iPhones.

Come September I'm getting a new iPhone and my wife is going to get the 4S.
