Maybe they have a slippery shower plate, so they are taking precautions... 🤷‍♂️

Agreed - slip and fall in the shower can be a big issue. Perhaps not at 20, but as we age.
My friend's mother slipped and fell in the shower at a pool party. Would have been less awkward for both of us had she had an Apple Watch :D I'm glad I was there to help, but if I hadn't been it might have been a different story.

Don’t Become A Statistic: How To Prevent Bathroom Slips And Falls

Over one million Americans suffer a slip, trip, and fall injury and over 17,000 people die in the U.S. annually because of these injuries, according to the CDC. It is also estimated that 20% to 30% of people who experience a slip and fall suffer moderate to severe injuries such as: bruises, hip fractures, or head injuries. Slips and falls are mainly caused by a slippery surface. A vast majority of these falls occur in the bathroom. As a wet and slippery environment the bathroom is the most dangerous room in the house. However there are three steps you can take to lower the the risk of falls.

I agree too, but the problem with the Apple watch as a solution for bathroom slip-and-falls is that it does nothing to prevent them. Same with that "I've fallen and I can't get up" gizmo that they advertise on late night TV. I get that it is better for a slip-and-fall victim to be able to summon help than to lie on the floor for hours. However, if I were advising an elderly friend or relative on this topic I'd prioritize prevention strategies like grab bars, non-slip tub and shower mats, or even non-slip shower shoes for use while traveling that actually lessen the chance of an accident occurring in the first place. And then, perhaps, shower with an Apple watch as an added layer of protection.

I have used my Ultra for sleep tracking since I got it last year and it works great. I don't notice it too much if I use one of the sport loop bands for bed, as those are very lightweight. I don't think I would buy another watch just to have something lighter to wear to bed since the last thing I need is another device to charge 😂
