<-----pulls out hair spinning in circles. I am a 32 year old man who can't sleep like a kid at Christmas. The only person I even call is my wife. Fail of all Fails

I'll see your fail and raise you one. I'm 31 and mostly call my wife, and mother.

I work 4pm-midnight in Arizona, which is Pacific Time Zone right now. All I have to do is hope something doesn't happen and I have to leave the good cell data area, although now they I said it, I probably will have to leave.

I'm staying up. Wishing that the preorder started Friday night or something. I have to get up at 7 to take my daughter to school. Ugh.
Ordering the phone for my husband.

Nope. Don't care. Going to bed like usual. Nothing special. Hopefully the iPhone 5S, 6 and 7 rumors start soon.

First time ever but I am passing completely on this phone and staying with my 4 with the iOS6 update. That's good enough for the time being.

Your contract ended?

Taking a nap now, waking up at 3 to preorder, then taking another nap till I have to get up for work at 7. Haha my priorities are straight!

iPhone mania is unavoidable if one wants to rest assured their first day order makes the cut into the first batch to be shipped out.

I typically stay up, using two browsers I start ahead of the estimated time. Surf on one while refreshing the other. The very moment they appear I'm on it with a laser-like focus.

Just 8 short minutes later my orders complete. Being so early I never suffer the frustration of waiting for hours or days for a confirmation email, like some do. I've paid close attention to what works & what doesn't.

The payoff is terrific. I've always received mine either the day before official launch, or that very morning before 10:30 am as is AT&T's agreement with FedEx.
