I've owned the iPad 1, 2, and 3. But now I have the mini, and it's all I need. The form factor is win.

I've had three, but none at the same time.
16GB Black Wifi-Only iPad 2 (July 3rd, 2011 - March 15th, 2012)
16GB Black Wifi-Only New iPad (March 16th, 2012 - November 1st, 2012)
16GB Black Wifi-Only iPad w/ Retina Display (November 2nd, 2012 - Present)

And I can guarantee that I will be getting either the 5th Generation iPad (Whatever lowest capacity is, Black Wifi-Only), or if the 2nd Generation iPad mini has a retina display, then that (32GB White/Silver Wifi + Cellular).

Ive had an ipad 2....sold it get the ipad 3...then sold it to get the ipad 4.
in hindsight i shouldve kept the 3 and waited until the 5.

now, i dont think ill upgrade any time soon.
probably when the 6 comes out, but the 5 won't have my interest - the difference between the 3 and 4 wasnt massive enough to warrant an upgrade and i doubt the 5 will.

I got 4 in my household.

iPad 3 16gb - 10 years old daughter

To those of you who have both a regular iPad and a iPad Mini, what are you using them for?

I currently have an iPad Mini and is thinking of buying an iPad 2 on sale, and then use that one for cooking books in the kitchen, while I use the Mini for much other stuff.

I purchased my first iPad in October; the 64 gb mini. While I had an iPhone and iPod Touch, I never appreciated what an iPad can do until I obtained my mini. Since then, I purchased a 64 gb iPad 2 for viewing things on an even larger screen and a 16 gb iPad mini specifically to carry to work. In fact, the 16 mini is replacing my kindle fire HD as my ereader and work device.

After a long time waiting, my job finally got wifi, so, I can stream Netflix and Amazon Prime during lunch. I so hated the lag that occurred with the Kindle fire. Even my iPod touch was functioning better with streaming videos, so, I decided to get a mini with less space to accommodate my prolific reading.

Some apps overlap, but, I have my reasons for owning three and I don't regret it.
