Well i have owned two 😀, I got my first G3IBook not the clamshell with 800mhz 640megs of ram and the infamous 10gig hdd not the orginal but what can you do? Once i had the G3 Ibook i fell in love I can never go back to a wintel machine ever again you can do so much more on a mac than you can do on a wintel machine. Well after a couple of months having it the keys started to fall off then the battery barley held a charge So I traded it for a G4 Dual 1.5ghz 1.5Gb ram and 800Gb hdd. And i have a strong feeling that this will not be my last mac. I love macs 😀
Became a mac user in the summer of '05. This is my list:
1.33ghz 12 inch powerbook Summer '05-Summer '06
1ghz Tibook Summer '06-November '06
Powermac G3 for 1 week in Summer '06
400 mhz Powermac G4 from November '06-Currently (about to get sold)
2.0ghz Macbook C2D November '06-Currently
Powermac Cube Last week-Currently
I'm planning to set up the cube as my main machine in college for papers and web browsing. I love how quiet it is and have not had a hard time going from the macbook to the cube, specially since the cube has 1.25 gigs of ram. Plus, it's always been my dream computer. The macbook will be used frequently too since I move about campus often.
My first "Mac" was an Apple IIgs - I used this when I was 4 years old.
After that I got a used PowerMac 7200/75 for free 😀
Then came the first Mac I bought myself - a PowerBook G4 667 (older revision).
After that, my favorite Mac - my "Lampshade" 17" iMac G4 1.25 GHz.
Then, my Rev. C 20" iMac G5 (the oldest Mac I still have).
Finally, my 2.33 GHz 17" MacBook Pro (non-Santa Rosa), the Mac I use today.
