I started late (1999). What can I say, I'm young!

333MHz Strawberry iMac. Yum. Still have it; still works. 😀

500MHz iBook. Sold

800MHz G3 iBook. Using it right now. Best damn laptop I've ever used. Then again I've never used a PBook. *Sigh*

Duff-Man says....

My wife is still using our first mac, a 266 Blueberry iMac.

I've had a Blue and White G3.

Currently use a 1.2 ghz G4 tower, Gigadesigns upgrade, and a 500 dual usb iBook.

Love them all.

The 266 iMac is still chugging along quite nicely.

🙂

700 Mhz G3 iBook
400 Mhz iMac DV (Blueberry)
300 Mhz PowerMac G3 MT

And I still own all three. I plan on skipping the G4 and going to a G5 for my next Mac. 😀

My family of four has had about 16 Macs, so many that we've lost count. For several models we've owned more than one simultaneously. We've named every one of them. Right now, we try to keep only as many computers around as there are people, but that "rule" has caused me to invite guests over. 😛

I have owned and own the following, all still in working condition:

Mac SE (double disk drive)
Performa 6300
Performa 6320
PowerMac G4 400 MHz (AGP Graphics, GB Ethernet)|-->what I'm using right now!

Hopefully, I'll add a G5 to the family soon.

sadly enough: zero

but i'm going to increase this number in a few months ..ibook for me and emac/imac for the family

just had to re-install windows xp yesterday...ohh the pain (IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL -errors....i love them)

For 10 years I have only had 2 macs, 😱

15 years, and just three.

IIcx 1989-96
PMac 7500/100 1996-2003
iMac (1Ghz) 2003-present.

And I'm something of a gadget junky. Just cheap, I guess, and lucky that macs have build quality to last this long.

mom and pop

first was Apple IIc, bought by my parents during college, used during elementary school by our family before getting a PC by the time I got to 6th grade.

The others are mine, see bellow, and in that order, ibook first, quicksilver after anouncement of G5.

Here's 10 of em, from years ago.

1995 Performa 6200 CD (75 MHz, 8 MB RAM, 1 Gig HD) $1800

1999 Blueberry iMac (266 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 6 Gig HD) $1199

2002 eMac (700 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 40 Gig HD) $950

2003 12" PowerBook BTO (867 MHz, 640 MB RAM, 60 Gig HD)

I'm afraid it's going to be a while before I cross the GHz barrier. I'm tapped out.

🙁

This should be fun.

I have a Mac Plus we got in 1986 or something
Still works. With original 20gb Apple Drive. Anyone wanna buy it?

Also have 2 SE's and a Classic II.

At one point had a IIsi, IIci, Color Classic, Centris 650, PowerCenter 120, 7200/120, 4400/200, G3 266 (upgraded to 366), Lombard 333, G4 Dual 450, Tibook 667.

Now I have a Dual Gig QS and a Powerbook 12 1ghz.

There was a weekend where I rescued 25 9500's from the dumpster at my old art school, took 'em home, reinstalled system 8.5 on 'em and sold 'em on ebay.

Helped allow me to not work for a year in art school and subsequently start my freelance career. I'll never forget slumming it in a dumpster, tossing Macs to a friend, and then ditching my coveralls in the dumpster, putting on a pair of sweatpants and driving back to my house.

Was hilarious.

🙂

Well

4 technically;

1 LC II (Never Used)

1 II Cx (Never Worked)

1 Quadra 605 (Just used for War Craft, and some experimenting)

1 TiBook (Current Primary Computer)

TEG

original macintosh
2 IIsi
2 performa (forgot the model, its still running back in my house in manila)
1 first ever powermac
ibook (dual usb 500)
17 albook rev a

I'm on my 5th Mac right now (6th nif you count the PowerBook 3400 I had on loan for a while):
-Mac Plus (still works!)
-Performa 578
-Power Mac 7500/100
-PowerBook 3400/200 (loaned)
-iMac G3/500 (still in use)
-iBook G3/900 (still in use)

i've never owned one, but i've been sitting in front of one mac or another all day for the past 6-7 years at work. companies just assume designers want macs.

Personally, I own two. A Beige G3 and a Aluminum 15" PB

My parents own(ed):
Apple IIgs (lent/given to a family member)
LC520 (sitting in my father's office at his school until they get him a newer computer)
333MHz Lime iMac, sitting at home, doing little of anything.

My brother has a UMAX S900, and has been trying to get some $$ for a 17" PB, but has probably decided to wait for the G5 PB's.

I've owned 3 Macs, and I still have all 3.

PowerMac 7600 132 MHz, upgraded to G3 350 MHz, running OS 8.6. Still using it for Digital Performer, on those rare occasions when I get a chance to make some music anymore.

QuickSilver G4 733 MHz, running 10.3.2. My main machine at home.

iBook G3 600 MHz, running 10.3.2. The wife's machine.

I've also managed to convince my employer (where Windows is king and Mac is a dirty word) to buy two 15.2" PowerBooks (1.25 GHz) and a dual 2 GHz G5 Power Mac with an XServe RAID. I personally use one of the PowerBooks every day, and often use the G5 either remotely from my office or directly down in the lab. They're "mine" too as far as I'm concerned. 😀
